It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

What does it truly mean to follow Jesus?
In his new book, "The Sermon on the Mount: A Devotional Commentary," Dr. Tyler Sykora explores Jesus' call to wholehearted discipleship in a world that often elevates personal feelings above God's truth.
Rather than conforming to the the culture, Jesus calls His followers to build their lives on the unchanging truth of God's Word. This book shows how true obedience flows not from rule-keeping, but from a transformed heart that loves, trusts, and follows Christ.

As a Canadian physician was quoted in a 2025 Atlantic article, “Once you accept that people ought to have autonomy, and once you accept that life is not sacred and something that can only be taken by God, a being I don’t believe in, then if you’re in that work, some of us have to go forward and say, we’ll do it.”
But this wasn't born of autonomy. It was compulsory—the necessary byproduct of a worldview built on godlessness, socialism, and efficiency.
Are you paying attention to what we're doing to human beings?
