We are making Markdown files work natively across Google Drive and Docs.
You can now preview .md files in Drive, open them in Docs, edit them, comment on them, and collaborate without converting the file into a Google Doc!

You can now take an interactive web app you built in Gemini App straight into Google Sites - no code to copy, no app to rebuild. :)
Export it to a private site draft, customize it, then publish and share with your team, customers or students. 🧵 1/3

In the Gemini app, select Export > Google Sites. Your app opens fully interactive in a new, private site draft. Add more content, edit, then publish when you're ready.
Google Sites must be enabled, if you are an Enterprise or Edu account, with permission to create and edit sites. Your organization's existing Sites and Drive policies still apply. 🧵 2/3

Agentic autonomy means full attribution, clear auditability and enterprise-grade governance.
With Gemini agent, every agent has its own identity, governed permissions, and an audit trail for the work it performs.
Tasks run safely inside an secure VM hosted on Google Cloud, as an AI network firewall to enforce company policies in real time -- which gives you control with both Human In The Loop and Human Over The Loop.

Excited about this loop!
Your docs should be useful to you, your team, AND your agents - without forcing everyone into a new file system or collaboration model. :)

In an interesting but unsurprising twist, Google Docs/Drive has been better than local markdown files for keeping my context synced across agents. Works locally. Works in the cloud. Every new platform ships a connector on day 1 so I can keep trying new personal agent platforms without moving all my stuff around.

Markdown has become the common language between humans and AI agents - specs, plans, READMEs, tables, task lists, generated docs - so much of this starts as .md.
Now you can keep the file as Markdown and still use your favorite Docs collaboration workflows. :)

I am excited about this because it removes a lot of small but painful friction: no import/export loops, fewer broken formats, and comments/collaboration where teams already work.
Starting to rollout to all Workspace customers and personal Google accounts.

“Healthy disregard for the impossible” ❤️
I remember the first meeting where the team pitched the idea of putting compute in space - exciting idea!
Today's successful launch with our partner @planet prototype satellite shows how far we've come...and how far there is to go. Thanks for the lift, @SpaceX, another ding too🚀

Lots of discussion out there about our next model(!), so I wanted to give an early look as soon as possible. Introducing Gemini 4 Argon!
It shows frontier performance in complex workflows, cyber defense and software engineering. Teams are using it extensively at Google, from ting, great feedback.
Here’s a look at the benchmarks:
