As AI continues to advance at an extraordinary pace, learning to do things once thought uniquely human, even replicating our voices so convincingly that they can be nearly indistinguishable from the real thing, I think something important is happening.
The more technology can imitate us, the more precious the real thing becomes.
A real conversation. Looking into someone’s eyes. Hearing their laughter in person. Feeling the warmth of a hug, the comfort of a hand on your shoulder, or the joy of creating something with another human being. These are experiences we should never take for granted.
AI may be able to replicate so much of what we do, but we must never lose sight of where it all began. Human curiosity, imagination, ingenuity, and creativity are what made this technology possible in the first place.
We came first. We are the origin of the ideas, the questions, and the desire to build something greater than ourselves.
Perhaps the more artificial intelligence advances, the more we should cherish what is authentically human.
Never forget how extraordinary it is to be human. ❤️

Some of you may have met my wife. But I'd like to introduce her to you all.
Without Evelyn, this event wouldn't be possible. She introduced me to Tesla, and she believed in Elon's vision of autonomous cars long before I ever did.
She has stood by me through thick and thin, and this Tesla community in ways many of you will never see. She's my heartbeat and my world. Without her, this community wouldn't be what it is today.
Words can't express my gratitude. I thank God for my wife every day.
Evelyn is the most selfless person I know. She never does things for credit. She takes care of people quietly, whether it's our family, our friends, or someone she barely knows. And she homeschools our four kids with a patience and love I couldn't match on my best day.
This may be news for some of you, but Evelyn has been battling triple-negative breast cancer since August of last year.
She has endured chemo, surgery, and radiation, and the fight is not over. There have been days that were painful and days that were frightening, and through every one of them she has stayed kind, held onto her faith, and kept showing up for other people. I am honored to serve her and to walk beside her through this.
If you pray, please keep my wife in your prayers. Pray for her healing, her strength, and her peace. It means more to us than you know.
Evelyn, you are my greatest blessing. Thank you for everything you do, seen and unseen. I love you. This community is better because of you, and so am I.

Politics is incredibly tribal.
Most of those in one tribe can see nothing their tribe does wrong or anything good done by another political tribe.

I am back at the doctor, just got here a little bit ago because I’m still having issues and I had a long conversation with Grok and it thinks I’m having a possible lung issue that is presenting itself as a back spasm and so I’m hoping I can get checked out more thoroughly. Better safe than sorry!

Wait until scam callers get their hands on this tech
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people.
The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman: "I don't even know a dramatic enough word to use… models can find bugs that are outside of the normal threat model of what we think a hacker can do… hardware-level, insane stuff… I no longer think we're gonna be able to just patch all the bugs."

Rest in peace, Nick Wray.
Nick was Neuralink participant P8, the 8th person in the world to receive the implant.
He lived with ALS for four and a half years and passed away on August 2, 2026, at 44.
With his implant, he used his phone, his laptop, and played video games just mily wrote that he considered Neuralink and his contribution to the knowledge of the human brain to be his purpose.
He was also a drummer, a barista and manager at Grounds for Thought, fluent in French, and a lover of Aruba and good coffee.
Thank you, Nick. What you gave will help every patient who comes after you.
Prayers and love to Alexia, his parents, his siblings, and all who miss him.
