Well, you think to yourself, that's somewhere else. I can't do a thing about it. But understand this: your mindset that they are all here for us to eat and abuse is widespread and supports this behavior worldwide.

Look at this poor donkey. His leg is broken, yet he was still being forced to carry heavy loads.
Just imagine the unbearable pain with every step. He cannot cry for help, cannot explain his suffering, and cannot icted upon him.

Donkeys are among the most abused, exploited and forgotten animals. They spend their entire lives working for humans, yet receive so little compassion in return.

The rate since the rollout of the COVID shots is 7 standard deviations above the baseline rate and is still rising.

Walmart is still shorting their 5 pound bags of potatoes, and it’s very clearly intentional
Not one, not two, but EVERY BAG you pick up and put on the scale is a pound or so short
One or two is a mistake, every bag is intentional. At this point I am absolutely convinced this is ause by shorting products this adds up to hundreds of millions of dollars in extra profits
When they do get fined, the fine is no where near the amount they stole
Walmart has a pattern of doing this
There was a $45 million class-action settlement in 2024 against Walmart that settled over claims it inflated weights on sold by weight goods like meat, poultry, pork and seafood
Walmart was also caught doing this and fined in California and New Jersey. The fines were very small, under $1.6 million and $5.5 million
When the punishment for a crime is a fine, then it’s just the cost of doing business. It’s a business model

When I do narcotics handoff, the other medic and I talk about the calls. I can’t count how many times I’ve heard ‘ran a heart attack’ or ‘ran a stroke.’ Since the shot rollout, the ages keep getting younger. Most of my colleagues still won’t ask about vaccine history. I used to get annoyed. Now I don’t need them to. I’ve asked enough. I’ve seen enough. I know what’s driving these young strokes and heart attacks.

This year I attended an animal welfare conference focused on lab animals.
One of the people presenting did dog research at a North Carolina university and talked about how lab dogs have a different living experience than companion dogs. They showed their kennels that the dogs acious,” and sure they were taken out and played with to provide enrichment, but those of us in the audience looked at each other appalled.
We had just listened to a presentation about a horrifying bear research facility which we all agreed were bad, but the situation for these dogs was similar if not worse. They were also trying to adopt out former research dogs who were breeds that are larger and not as fetishized as the lab beagles, and they were having a hard time.
