@thepainguy No. That's how Hitting Twitter interprets it.

People with a bat in their hands don't. Especially when it's properly demonstrated. Which it is by 99.99% of all coaches who teach hitters to swing down to the ball.

Off season training started this week. Tonight after BP with @seise_23 I spent my evening training with @BMC_Baseball alum @westoneberly focusing on receiving and cleaning up my throwing position @SCRprospects @BUncommitted @DPMUncommitted

Great Junior Season with @Foundation_BSB and @CoachGrove904 Looking forward to senior season with our new coach with @thefalions Coach Kevid2027 #2027RHP

So this is a great illustration by Vogie to Yelich. One command while in the cage….DOWN….but watch the hand movement to him once he comes out. Under, under, under…..DOWN! Immediately gets him on plane with just one mental cue. Through the wall, not over it! Barrels….good stuff.

Someone is taking the winter off from hitting…

The same guy is going to complain about playing time in the spring when the guys in the trenches pass him up.

Don’t be that guy

Jeter to Murphy...
“The Brewers play baseball the right way” ….
- Pat Murphy replies … “Guys today don’t understand that!”

We have gotten so far away from center as to what winning baseball is and looks like… the younger generation’s focus is on launch angle, spin rates, in by out slugging the opponent! Basically…. Hit more HR than the other team…. Then pimp the HR.

Well eyes have been opened. They have to be. It’s now a matter of … if pride will keep the other orgs from following. If they do… our game will skyrocket like never before.

It was literally the most beautiful baseball I have seen at the MLB level … electric!

Hmmm….’DOWN’…..such a weird concept!

It’s often a guessing game when running against a LHP. Here Simpson guesses & runs 1st move against Romero & Romero goes over with a low anti 1st move pick. Bad guess. If you do run 1st move, it’s a low % move to get in a run down. Go hard to 2B, stay tall, run for the middle infieldeThat inside lane on the grass route is reserved for the ground ball to the 1st baseman. When it’s a 1st move steal & they pick, you are hoping it’s a higher slower leg lift move where you can beat the throw by going as fast as you can from ‘A’ to ‘B’. In this case it was a low leg lift pick. Veteran move.

The Brewers saw 175 pitches tonight.

They swung and missed a total of 13 times.

Weird, hitting coach of the best team in baseball preaches down🙌🏻

💣 @javier_calz GOES DEEP!
The lefty unleashes his pull-side power, crushing a 375 FT bomb to right-center field! 🚀

375 FT HR

"That's the goal as hitting coaches, to get guys to believe in themselves because you're not always going to feel great."

@Brewers hitting coach Daniel Vogelbach details what makes this Milwaukee lineup so difficult to navigate ahead of Game 2! #WorldSeries
