Ukrainian children forcibly deported to russia:
Lvova-Belova, russian 'Commissioner for Children’s Rights' (wanted by the ICC) boasts over 700,000 Ukrainian children have been “relocated”.
Ukraine estimates the number to be between 200,000—300,000

#russiaisaterroriststate
In her 25 Feb report for @oscepa @carinaodebrink records that numbers of deported children aged from a few months to 17 years old are impossible to ascertain because russia refuses to provide records. Ukraine estimates 200-300,000, while Russia brags of over 700,000 'relocations'

Serial killer with a gun demands potential targets give up their bulletproof vests to advance peace deal.
Jared Kushner seems to be saying here that the United States is prepared to put NATO's military presence in Eastern Europe on the negotiating table as part of a deal to end the war in Ukraine.

It means that that Putin's long-standing demands to demilitarise NATO's eastern flank could become part of the bargaining.

This has been coming for some time. Russia has demanded restrictions on NATO's military presence in Central and Eastern Europe for years.

And when Steve Witkoff met Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg last month, he said, according to Putin, that discussions about a new European security architecture should be part of the agenda.

This is alarming for Poland and eastern flank countries.

They will be asking what Washington might actually be prepared to concede in negotiations with Moscow.

Poland is currently negotiating with Washington over a permanent American military base on its territory.

It was hard to choose a more spineless NATO mouthpiece than Rutte.
I doubt he is more than a mouthpiece capable of leading at the time of a major European military conflict.
Sad
While Ukraine is doing NATO’s only job, alone, Trump is trying to sell out Rutte and the organization to Putin for a few bucks. Pretending this isn’t happening is not an effective way of preventing it from happening. Call things what they are.

Okay, I sat down and translated parts of yet another pompous statement from Jared Kushner about Trump’s incredible peace initiatives, explaining what his carefully worded euphemisms actually mean, so you don’t have to.

“…the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace…”

= “Europe will have to completely capitulate to Putin, make him the master of the continent, and live under his dictates, because we’re absolutely itching to get our hands on Lukoil’s foreign assets.”

“For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework.”

= “For decades, Europe and the entire West enjoyed peace and stability, until Putin, in his old age, suddenly got the itch to conquer Ukraine again, fucked it up spectacularly, and now somehow that’s everybody else’s problem.”

“Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment.”

= “You will be required to surrender everything and remain defenseless, while Putin will give you absolutely nothing in return and won’t be obliged to do a damn thing.”

“Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace.”

= “And we’re also going to blame you and Ukraine for Russia’s aggressive imperialism.”

“Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation.”

= “And Putin will decide where your sovereignty begins and ends, where your borders lie, and just how much independence you’re allowed to have.”

“Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices.”

= “Yes, unless Putin decides that you’re not actually a real country at all, but an inseparable part of Russia’s sphere of influence, and that your ability to defend yourself against an invasion constitutes an existential threat to Russia.”

“We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation.”

= “Nobody is going to discuss a damn thing with Ukraine or Europe. There won’t be, and never has been, anything here except our attempts to sell out and betray you to Putin for the highest possible price. And I’ll throw in a whole bunch of meaningless, boilerplate diplomatic phrases to make this bullshit look vaguely serious and respectable.”

“There are no easy solutions.”

= “Russia could simply get the hell out of Ukraine and stop launching wars of aggression whenever it wants, but that’s not what Putin is promising us money for.”

“We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.”

= “Of course, absolutely nothing will come of any of this, just as nothing has come of all the previous years of these ridiculous ‘negotiations,’ during which we’ve been actively helping Putin wage his war. But we couldn’t care less. That’s not what we’re here for.”

Give yourself five minutes to read this today, & understand what is being attempted against Ukraine & her population, after years of continuing loss, suffering & destruction 🙏
I tried to let it go, but I couldn't🙃

Every time I see another dude in a suit casually pitch that Ukraine has to compromise, my blood runs cold.

I had to get this out of my system.
Give my rant a read if you have the time👇

KYIV, UKRAINE. 1 A.M.

Right now, Kyiv is under a massive Russian missile attack.

And almost immediately, the city plunged into complete darkness.

Everything went black. It felt like staring into an abyss.

Thermal power plants have reportedly been hit.

Another three or four rted.

According to preliminary reports, at least 22–23 missiles targeted energy infrastructure within just 15 minutes.

Russian forces have reportedly carried out one of the largest concentrated attacks on Kyiv’s and the surrounding region’s energy infrastructure.

The reported targets include thermal power plants, electrical substations around Kyiv, and railway traction substations.

Around seven or eight key energy facilities in Kyiv and the surrounding region may have been targeted. These figures and locations still require official confirmation.

It was terrifying.

Terrifying because you don’t know what will happen next. You don’t know where the next missile will strike. You don’t know whether you will survive, whether your home will still be standing, or whether we will make it through another night.

Today, it started snowing.

Imagine that. It’s November, and snow is already falling.

Winter is coming, and Russia is destroying the infrastructure that provides electricity and heating to millions of people.

I DON’T WANT TO LEAVE MY HOME.

I love my home.

I want to stay in Kyiv.

I want to live in my own country.

But Russia is trying to force me, just like so many other Ukrainians, to leave by terrorizing us, destroying our infrastructure, and making everyday life unbearable.

Why should we have to abandon our homes because Russia has decided to make our lives impossible?

WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR LUXURY. WE ARE ASKING TO SURVIVE.

Please, pressure your governments to help Ukraine defend its skies.

Give Ukraine Patriot air defense systems.

Give us the means to protect our cities, our homes, our children, and our families.

GIVE US THE HELP WE NEED TO LIVE.

And Donald Trump?

I want accountability for political decisions that have allowed Russia to continue financing its war.

Reports about Russia’s oil revenues and the consequences of US sanctions policy deserve serious scrutiny. If American decisions have enabled additional revenue to flow into Russia’s war economy, the public deserves to know exactly how much, through which mechanisms, and who was responsible.

Trump and his administration must be held accountable for their decisions.

Because while politicians talk about money, oil, and deals, we are sitting in darkness under Russian missiles.

We are being attacked in our own homes.

We are fighting to survive.

WE WANT TO LIVE.

GIVE UKRAINE AIR DEFENSE. GIVE US PATRIOTS 💔

It’s true. Russia is securing itself reserves in cannon fodder who will be loyal to the Russian state, willing to protect & serve “the motherland”. Once they’re in the Russian army, the tragedy is that rescue teams are no longer able to retrieve them.

Not even by force, such as in cases of abducted children who are indoctrinated & propagandised, but not part of military activities. By that stage, their fate is determined entirely on the battlefield (& yes, there have already been deaths).

Russia is attempting to irreparably fragment Ukrainian society, but they’re also preparing for future expansionist ambitions. Planning for the next genocidal war before they’ve even finished this one, & using the bodies of Ukrainian children to do it…
- Volodymyr Zelensky🇺🇦:

“Russians have taken thousands of Ukrainian children from our land. Now, we see something even worse.

Russia has already started sending some of these children, children they stole from us, who have grown up during this war, grown up over these years, And this is horrible, and it must stop.”
