Great project, great thread
So a few years ago I started a side quest where I searched for neighborhood murals in NYC. When I found one I took a picture. When I heard of one, I traveled there by subway bus or foot and took a picture. There were 3 rules:
1. It has to include a direct reference to the actual me to Williamsburg" counts, but "Williamsburg Bagel Factory" doesn't.
2. It has to be an artistic representation of some sort. Painted murals, sculpture, digital display etc. A plain sign doesn't count.
3. It has to be semi permanent in nature. No posters.

So here was the first one in my collection, Astoria Queens:

"Nazis must have been socialists because it's in the name" reminds me of "Antifa can't be fascist because the name says they are Anti."

These guys always seek affirmation from Grok. It's a bit heartbreaking.

A stand-up comic I know told me that Bill Maher is what happens when a pitbull mates with a dildo, and that's all I can see when he pops up in the news.

MAGA accounts these days are like oldies radio stations, playing the hits of yesteryear for the old folks, whose time has passed.

Another gem Fielder interview is the promo he did with cast of The Night Before: Anthony Mackie, Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Seth Rogen.

Rogen and Fielder were high school classmates in Vancouver and placed 3rd in a national improv competition as a team. This promo best collab since.
Early Nathan Fielder. He got to interview his boss on the air and made it as awkward as possible.

The true problem here is that his friend and the girl are both human impersonators of AI so good at their jobs they could be the real thing.
My friend went on 3 great dates with a girl (yes this included dinner dates), no sex. I told him he’s cooked, that he should cut his losses.

The girl wasn’t happy when he told her it’s over. Was he too harsh towards her? Should he have done a fourth date?

Rough times for ppl who built their followings here by calling things an "op."
To those who seek to create positive change in Cuba - now is the time.

The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few; seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA.

To me, this indicates she'd make a lousy senator, and increases the likelihood she would've found some way to blow a winnable election.
BASH: “You're still fully behind Abdul El-Sayed?”

STEVENS: “Look, I'm on the Democratic ticket. I can't say that I agree with everything that's gone on… I'm looking to be on the team to support my next governor Jocelyn Benson, and frankly these great Democrats who are working e going to make Hakeem Jeffries the first black Speaker of the House.”

BASH: “You didn't mention Abdul El-Sayed in that last answer.”

STEVENS: “Well, look, I would just say, you had asked me if I'm still on the team, I'm on the team.”

How many of you know El-Sayed was a Rhodes scholar?

His big secret isn't the Brotherhood. It's that he's basically Bill Clinton. Runs for gov at 33, Senate at 40. A hugely ambitious, impatient, high-energy striver.

His Rhodes btw is an Alice Fact, defined below.

NYC expert here to tell you these are very real.

I've not only heard of but am actively mindful of them when walking in Manhattan.

Two exceptions: I don't know "Radio Row," though it makes sense. And what the map calls "Little Germany," I think of as "Little Ukraine."
This is the wildest Manhattan neighborhood map I've ever seen. I'm not an NYC expert but I'm pretty sure half of these aren't real lol

The Dems are flooding prediction markets with bad bets to shift perceptions of reality.

It only would cost $200,000 to change Talarico’s odds from 50 to 67%

That’s a fraction of the 114 million spent on Talaricos campaign and more effective than road signs.

People don’t believe polls but prediction markets create more certainty, because who would throw away money right?

The best we can do is make their marketing stunt as expensive as possible by placing more bets on Paxton and collecting.

Once election results hit the odds will be revealed to have been way off base and the Dems will use it as a call to regulate prediction markets.

Asked Dad if he did anything in the 1980s that might embarrass me when I run for senate. (Because dishonor runs in the blood.)

Dad showed me his LANGUAGE poetry. 😨😨

He then reminded me of a No Nukes petition I signed at age 10. 😬😬

We're in full damage-control mode.

Amy Acton's mother was killing the cats of the people who live here
Mediaite: Amy Acton’s Mother Was Convicted of Killing Kittens

New information about the criminal history of Donna Arthur, the estranged mother of Ohio Democratic nominee for governor, Amy Acton, is coming to light amid the backlash about her appearance in a Vivek Ramaswamy ad — including her conviction for animal neglect after several kittens in her care died in a hot car

To cut through their euphemisms:

Hannah-Jones kept demanding that Mamdani's schools chief abolish ("integrate") public schools with screened admissions.

The chancellor kept explaining that he wasn't going to do that as long as parents ("communities") want them.
"After Nikole Hannah-Jones repeatedly asked the chancellor about a systemwide plan, Samuels did not commit to any specific integration policies, nor did he offer a timeline for offering a more detailed plan, repeatedly drawing jeers" from the crowd.
