There's something funny about programming.

You can understand a concept perfectly when someone explains it, feel confident that you've got it, and then open your own project and suddenly start questioning everything. 😂

I've come to appreciate that understanding code and knowing how to apply that knowledge independently are two different things.

That's why I want to spend more time building actual projects, not just learning concepts.

Because eventually, you have to be able to make things work without someone guiding you through every step.

• How to break problems down
• How to debug
• How to read documentation
• How to build

Syntax comes with practice.

The life you want will probably require you to do things you don't feel like doing.

A real project makes you decide what should happen next.
