Can I ask a dumb question...
If Safari is so optimized...
why do so many Macbook users install Chrome first?

Meet Shubhi (and her husband), senior software engineers living in Bengaluru.
I don't know their exact take-home, but this is roughly how much they spend every month:
1. Rent + maintenance: ₹60,000
2. Groceries (high-protein: whey, Greek yogurt, paneer, etc.): ₹13,000-14,000
4. Weekend outings: ₹10,000
5. Petrol + cabs: ₹3,500
6. Shopping + miscellaneous: ₹3,000
7. Travel (9 lakh/year averaged out): ₹75,000
Total: ~₹1.7 lakh/month
The biggest fixed chunk is rent. The biggest variable is travel - they treat trips as a regular lifestyle cost rather than a rare luxury. They track everything but don't split "who owes whom" because they're permanent roommates, not flatmates.
Meanwhile, plenty of TCS/Infosys freshers in the same city still take home ₹22k-25k.
Shubhi's rent alone is more than double many of their full salaries. The averaged travel number alone is more than what many people earn in a month.
Same Bengaluru. One couple burns ₹1.7L.
Another is stretching 25k across rent, food, and everything else.
The city is the same. The paycheck is not.
What's your monthly burn rate in Bangalore right now?

My friend got laid off from Microsoft.
He called me..…
Laughing.
I was surprised.
Me:
“Bro, what happened?”
Him:
“I just got laid off.” 😂
I didn’t know how to react.
Then he said something that completely changed my perspective.
“I’ll get a few months of severance pay.
I’ll take 1–3 months to recharge.
Then spend the next month interviewing and finding something even better.”
That stayed with me.
Same situation.
Different mindset.
Some people panic.
Others prepare.
What would you do in this situation?

If the AI bubble bursts, Indian software engineering won't die.
History lesson:
When the dot-com bubble popped in 2000, US tech companies laid off thousands, slashed domestic budgets, and outsourced everything to Bangalore to survive.
A crash in Silicon Valley has always fueled hiring in India.

How are people making those insane graphic motions video that I keep seeing on instagram using claude ?
I keep seeing some advanced really cool motion graphics videos on instagram and they all say it's done with claude, but when I ask claude to generate a similar one it doesn't do that good of a job as the videos that they have?
How are they doing it ? I saw a video with caption saying "Claude + Katana" (katana is from higgsfields for context) is that the way or ?
