Young people having trouble with relationships, communicating poorly, having sex poorly, having to frame of reference for mutual expectations, has very little to do with "men" or "women" somehow mysteriously having just "gotten worse", and a whole lot to do with their parents buying a media campaign about how "kids just need to figure it out for themselves and be free" etc, and are frightened to involve themselves to help their own children, because the panopticon didn't start in 2007 with phones, it started in 1945, when we invented public relations and marketing, which is the use of wartime propaganda in peacetime, and everyone has been very afraid of getting "cancelled" for a very long time, much longer than you think
