This isn’t video footage.
It’s a Gaussian splat rendered in real-time, walked by a simulated person filming on a virtual phone: gait, head turns, motion blur, rolling shutter, footsteps.
You can tap to burn the Gaussians it's made of. 🔥

Coding for 8 years you say. Oh man.
I don't know what the term is, maybe "creative director".

I hate the word VIBE CODER 🤬
Today someone asked me “so you’re vibe coding?” and I felt so attacked 😂
We need a new word for people like me who’ve coded for 8 years and now build with AI
Agentic engineer? AI-native dev? Something but not the vibe coder 😤

Software reseller trying to strong arm us. I don't think he knows resellers are less than 0.1% of our sales.

@ionos_help_US it looks like someone managed to bypass email address confirmation for a fake account signup using one of our domains, as we are getting "welcome" emails from you.

Latest cunning prompt experiment is "Do some stuff, fix things, add things".
Impressive, I know.

I actually think Angular 2+ was a success. Ok it wasn't as popular as React but for the job it was aimed at (big/serious apps) it did well and mostly avoided requiring a bunch of random libraries to get apps out the door.

This isn't an age thing at all, this is just people actively choosing top ignore what's right in front of them. Affects all ages!
So I was speaking with a senior software engineer who leads a team of about 8 people (40+ years age).......they don't use Claude Code of any AI tool for that matter.
They just use ChatGPT free plan for the code snippets.
I am speechless.

Porting a webview UI to a C++ UI and remembering that C++ can be surprisingly slow and crashy with some frameworks.
Browsers are more reliable and optimised than they are given credit for.

Artisanal coding enters it's official toiling in a dusty shed phase.
The r/OpenSource subreddit has officially banned anything using AI. In any way. Violators will be permanently banned.
Which means… r/OpenSource will ban anyone submitting anything that, in any way, involves… the Linux kernel.

Motivation. It didn't seem all that bad growing up. No family car, no phone etc.
Block of 4 flats with back and front "garden". It had a view of the hills and fields at the back which we failed to appreciate at the time.
