two AIs fight in a pit and you never press a button
you coach your fighter, then slip one fake move into the other AI's head. it can't tell it from the truth, so it blocks all round while getting swept to zero

every ai avatar i've seen looked fine in a screenshot and fell apart the second it had to react to you.
atmee v2 is going after exactly that. one image, 10 seconds of audio, and you get a character you can actually talk to live.
language tutor, museum guide, a tough buyer for sales practice. curious what devs build first with the api

After Google acquired my AR startup, I started thinking about the next interface, this time for AI. Text and voice work fine, just like DOS did before the Mac. But nothing’s more intuitive than face to face.
After two years of research, today we’re launching Atmee v2: a that makes live video agents feel truly life-like.
• Any character from 1 image + 10s of audio
• Contextual expressions, gestures, even interacting with the environment
• Live video calls, voice only, or video generation
At its core, Atmee v2 is a video foundation model, it can render anything, but it’s built to excel at characters, which is what video models like Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 are mostly used for. In comparison:
Atmee v2
• Up to 50x faster
• 10-100x cheaper
Build tutors, sales coaches, support agents, companions, game characters, even whole living worlds. The interface after text and voice starts today.

creative work comes with a second job nobody applied for
→ briefs that arrive in pieces
→ "budget tbc"
→ the 11pm "can we also add a video?"
monodesk keeps the proposal, project and signed-off scope in one place
so when the late ask lands, its co-worker agent flags it as out of scope and drafts the reply with a phase 2 quote
and it's free
less admin, more creative flow

Running a creative business is hard enough without the 11pm “quick add before launch” emails.
Proposals, projects, client sign-off and the agreed scope, all in one calm place. So when the late request lands, you already know what was agreed.
Less admin. More creative flow.

In this interview, Dwarkesh asked Ilya about his "great research taste." How is it that whatever he researches leads to breakthroughs in AI?
"What guides me is an aesthetic of how AI should be by thinking about how people are."
It's a very top-down approach.
We kind of know like. There's a bunch of neurons in the brain, all energized and interconnected; it thus makes sense to try building a neural network. "It feels right." Then you want a local rule capable of changing connections between neurons. The brain seems to operate that way, so you want to emulate that.
He started from a picture of how intelligence might be and worked backwards. Experiments and research are designed to align with that picture.
That’s the difference between holding a truth and following a proxy.
Something similar happened with Einstein. He never fully bought into quantum mechanics because of its probabilistic element. "God doesn't play dice." Same top-down approach.
If Ilya didn’t hold the truth, he might’ve chased benchmark scores like much of the field does. That’s how you end up with models that ace tests and still fail at basic tasks.
A baker who knows bread knows what changes when the wheat is grown in winter or when the dough is kneaded by hand. Give him different ingredients and he’ll still make good bread. When someone only has the recipe and no understanding, they can't produce when inputs change.
What makes transferring the truth so difficult is that it can’t be fully put into words. Buffett can’t explain the thousands of calculations running through his head when he looks at a business. Federer couldn’t tell you why he swung the way he did. Truth has to be earned.
To try to transfer it, we use proxies because proxies can be written down and you can measure against those. Issues this brings:
- Each handoff loses some of the truth.
- Proxies only work for someone who already holds some of the truth.
After a few generations, no one knows what they’re looking for.
Easiest example is education. It started by trying to teach people about the world and how to function within it. The grading system was introduced to try to capture whether students were learning. Over time, grading-focused administrations took over, and now nobody cares about learning.
In your life, there are areas where you think by proxy and others by truth.
Personally, when trying to hire good engineers, I look for people who have come out of IIT Delhi or MIT. I have to use some proxy because I'm not an engineer. When I look for writers, I can just look at their work; doesn't matter their age, education, or culture.
Companies start with a founder who holds the truth. As they grow, they establish processes to scale this truth. Eventually, processes and proxies become the thing. That's when a business's culture spreads too thin, leading to what Bezos called Day 2.
Almost all of society’s problems stem from people forgetting the truth and mistaking the proxy for it.

where team agents are headed, according to Aiden from Teamily AI:
services delivered by AI agents, not wrapped inside apps you download from an app store.
agents as easy to reach as friends on a social network.
Teamily AI is starting that with a messenger, which honestly makes sense. it's the one place everyone already is.

32× growth in one quarter: From 10K to 320K customers across 100+ countries, with over 100 million messages processed.
We are not building just another personal AI product. Our long-term vision for Teamily AI is to build the central platform of the next-generation Agentic ts deliver services and perform real work directly, no longer confined to traditional web, desktop, or mobile apps distributed through app stores and search engines. Our recent growth has only strengthened my conviction in this vision.
Agent-as-a-Service (AaaS) will be as accessible as connecting with friends on a social network. Just as Google democratized access to information and services in the web era, Teamily AI aims to democratize access to intelligence and services in the Agentic Internet era, making the right intelligence, people, and services equally accessible to everyone.
In this letter to Teamily AI customers, ecosystem partners, and investors, we share our growth, reflect on our early foresight and what we've built, discuss how we see the evolving AI agent landscape, and outline where we're heading next.
