Tech is for everyone.
Regardless of what you did before, you have a place here.
There is no shortage of roles, there are plenty.

I have so many regrets like picking an 8:40am flight and waking up at 3:30am
Anyway, happy Saturday folks!
Whoβs gonna be in SLC for KubeCon?

Hi everyone, I need your help. I'm still looking for work, and I'd appreciate an introduction to a team that's hiring.
My priorities are AI engineer, backend AI developer, and network/systems engineer roles, or a position that blends them. I work at the intersection of AI, curity, and education, and I take ownership of the systems I build and work on, from development and deployment through troubleshooting and ongoing operation.
I'm also open to network or systems administration and cybersecurity analyst positions, as well as adjunct teaching opportunities in IT, cybersecurity, or AI.
I'm based in New Port Richey, looking for remote work or hybrid opportunities in the greater Tampa Bay area.
I've finished my coursework for USF's M.S. in Cybersecurity Intelligence and Information Security with a 3.91 GPA and walk at commencement on December 11. I also hold CompTIA CySA+.
My portfolio and GitHub have more of what I've been building, including Brigade.
A lot of you here are founders, engineering managers, DevRel and product folks, members of technical staff, recruiters, and talent partners at AI labs, startups, and VC firms, and you may know where I could contribute. If your team is hiring, or you know a hiring manager or department looking for adjunct faculty, I'd appreciate a message or introduction. If no role comes to mind, I'd also appreciate a share to help this reach someone who's hiring.
Portfolio: solomonneas.dev
GitHub: github.com/solomonneas
LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/solomon-neas
Brigade: git.brigade.tools

To be able to contribute to the growth of an ecosystem and set a standard for Networking in Kubernetes has been a huge milestone and achievement for me.
When Christophe, approached me last year to join the crew and contribute to the CKNE, without hesitation, it was an immediate nity to work alongside folks like Faseela, Lin, Nicolas, RaphaΓ«l, Antonio, Mitch, and collaborate on what someone should know for a successful Kubernetes Networking launch, and let me tell you the diverse perspectives on problem solving is WHY this certification is the greatest.
For anyone taking this exam, itβs a hands-on performance-based exam with focus on:
- CNI
- Service Mesh
- Gateway API, Ingress, Egress
- L3-L7 policy
- Inference
- Multi-cluster
- BGP
And honestly so much more.
As someone whoβs gone through the CCIE DC, VCIX-NV, and CKA, this probably sits at the level of a VCIX/VCAP.
A HUGE THANK YOU to the certification team, AmyJune, Alex, Kara, and Christophe for involving and making entire journey easy for us!!!
Iβll be at KubeCon next week, come find me and AMA about the CKNE π

Enjoy this awkward video of me demoing some of the features of what i've been working on, in my spare time. Indistinguishable times curling from a live VM to a paused VM, building from Dockerfiles, layer 2 switching etc. (love any feedback)

A year and 6 months ago, I posted about optimizing costs with a vibe coded UI and an API that God knows should not have existed.
Today, the service has daily signups, keeps growing in revenue and boasts at least a 30% reduction in costs from our insights.
@costgraphai the public with more features and taste than ever, it works on-prem too. Be there this Saturday.

People should always be in control of the future.
OpenAI is against the notion that it would be acceptable for people to be relegated to a role of doing things that βAI systems think makes sense to reward in humansβ.
People should not cede control of the future to superintelligence, and that requirement should ultimately constrain AI progress.

Ever nodded along when someone mentioned TCP handshakes or DNS lookups, without really knowing how they work?

Now that itβs getting dark earlier, Iβm thinking about bringing back Career Rehab Tech Twitter Spaces to help us get ready for 2027 and reconnect as a community.
A lot is happening, and sometimes we need a space to talk careers, share opportunities, and remind each other weβre not in this alone.
Whoβs down?
