📢 I THINK I'VE FOUND SOMETHING. 𝗜 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣!
I'm asking anyone familiar with election financing laws to help me understand what I'm finding.
𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗘
In 2025, the legal donation limit for a federal leadership contest was $1,750 per person.
Here's what I da's records:
𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆: Greg Sorbara donated $1,750 to Mark Carney.
𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆: Gregory Sorbara donated another $1,750 to Mark Carney.
Same last name. Same postal code. Same campaign.
That's $3,500 if they're the same person. Twice the legal limit.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘅 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲?
But here's another problem.
Elections Canada's Reviewed/Amended records show the January donation, but I can't find the February donation being fixed at all.
🔴𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗘
Using DeepSearchX, I've identified hundreds of similar name variations and contribution discrepancies that were not flagged or fixed for Mark Carney.
Are these donations being properly reconciled or corrected? Cause the records I'm seeing say 𝗡𝗢.
@ElectionsCan_E, can you explain what's happening here? I'd appreciate it.

Honestly what are the odds that Greg and Gregory are different people here?
The January discrepancy was fixed But the February one wasn't?
When you go to elections Canada directly you see the same thing. The Feb contribution went through.
What am I missing?

Can anyone name a single Premier today that actually keeps their promises on the important shit?
I got into politics like 4 years ago...
Has it always been like this?
Educate me, name just one!

Can I ask a question about this whole Eby, BC thing from a Quebecer?
Was Eby in any danger at all of losing his premiership before he called a snap election?
Is that why he called it?
Sorry, not too learned on things B.C politics.

Totally random thought.
I'm sorry but Lady Gaga can't act for shit! She can barely sing as far as I'm concerned. I do not understand why anyone even gives her a second thought.
Just wanted to say that out loud.

🚨𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗜𝗦𝗡'𝗧 𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚!
Restaurants Canada has lobbied the PMO a total of 44 times on immigration between 2025/03 to 2026/10.
Many other companies are lobbying the PMO and the rest of the government on immigration @MichelleRempel.
𝗗𝗦𝗫: 4,090 records!😎

> operate during a healthcare availability crisis
> operate as wages are being depressed

Much of the records is scattered and not easily accessible. Never mind that these sites are slow as hell too sometimes. Good luck searching through Elections Canada for days! 🤣
💡The other day STATSCAN went down for a few days. DSX already had all the records indexed offline. I'm not limited to being online.
