@vercel_dev Agents buying domains directly is dangerously convenient

@vercel_dev You read my mind. I was just looking to grab a domain that isn't available on Cloudflare.

@vercel_dev Amazing stuff. Though I still prefer to use a different registry, until at least we get DNSSEC supported on Vercel

@vercel_dev vercel domains buy hands the confirmation to a human. vercel buy credits, addon and pro take --yes: per the docs it skips the confirmation prompt and is required non-interactively, so the agent can type its own yes. Intended, or just domains for now? ^^

@vercel_devally wondering why this wasn’t possible a couple of weeks ago when launching my personal site.
One less reason to open the Vercel site in browser!
At this point, is there any point investing effort in optimizing the web UI etc?
Seems like we’re heading towards CLI <> UI parity, which makes sense because agents will likely be responsible for 90%+ actions in Vercel by end of 2027.

@vercel_dev A dry-run that shows the exact domain, renewal terms, total charge, and target account before explicit approval would make this capability easier to govern. Is that exposed as a CLI flag or an approval callback?

@vercel_dev Love that it goes non-interactive when it detects an agent. Any plans for a --dry-run on buy, so an agent can show the exact charge before it spends?
