People often focus only on price, but these full-node improvements are where real long-term value is built. Better performance, security, and consistency mean the network can handle more users, more tokens, and more real-world activity. This is quiet, powerful progress.
🚀 BCHD v0.22.3 is LIVE
Huge release from the BCHD team (shoutout to @GeukensMathieu & @zquestz for the collab). Packed with performance gains, security fixes, and important new features for the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem.
What’s new:
• ⚡ Dramatically faster validation, sync & block relay (script validation ~26% faster, mempool acceptance ~18% faster)
• 🛡️ Full Double Spend Proofs support (create, check & relay dsproofs + new RPCs)
• 🔍 Much faster UTXO lookups
• 🪙 Improved CashTokens handling (aligned with BCHN)
• 🔒 Block finalization options (--maxreorgdepth default 10)
• 🧅 Tor v3 + BIP155 addrv2 support
• 🛠️ New RPCs (testmempoolaccept, getblock verbosity 3, finalizeblock, etc.)
• 🔧 Consensus edge-case alignment with BCHN + multiple security & robustness fixes
Recommended upgrade for all BCHD nodes.

hi everyone, i hope you're all having a lovely day! life has been really hard on me these past few years, and it has made it difficult to keep trying to get better. i was hoping some real life stories of you all or people you know! might help me with motivation, and to help realize that life can still turn around even when it feels like there's no more hope. hopefully this can help others who are struggling to improve too! thank you all so much in advance
