nyc is just a bunch of people who are really good at their jobs and really bad at answering texts

designers looking for jobs in another city:

put your target location on your linkedin profile and resume

location filters are real. don't make someone guess whether you're open to moving...

linkedin is where i go to learn about people

x is where i go to see what they're thinking

maybe there’s a reason your email got buried

damn i thought this sent with invisible ink

please stop treating your linkedin profile like a resume you uploaded once and abandoned

thank god drafted tweets save without internet because i write some crazy stuff on the subway

i love working with content designers because they actually read job descriptions 😏

interview prep that actually matters:

know what the company does
know why you want to work there
know your own projects well enough to explain the decisions you made

linkedin has made me a professional yapper with a calendar link

i love when people are genuinely excited about their jobs

tell me about your niche little industry
tell me about your spreadsheet
tell me everything !!!!!!

design seniors graduating without a job lined up:

sleep for a week
put your portfolio link where recruiters can actually find it
get to the good screens in your case studies faster
start having coffee chats
post your work online
get ready for january hiring

you have time diva

i’m gunna win bc I love my job more than you love your job

empath so hard
i feel bad for my bus when it breaks down

like he just couldn’t make it to the next stop 🥹

god forbid a girl loves her ai notetaker

collab of the century

weekend recap 🍂

sometimes you remember you live in nyc

the creative to creator pipeline needs to be studied
