Why can't the government set a policy that the person claiming asylum has to provide proof?
Why is it the government's job to prove a negative?
Summarily deport anyone who arrives with no proof.
And/or establish holding centers in a third country (El Salvador volunteered) for migrants to wait in while their claims are investigated.
