Well it's official, BeautifulRust has been the fastest growing open source project I've ever created.

Sometimes you just put something out into the world and find people seem to dig it.

Glad to see so many people love Rust as much as I do, and care about writing clean Rust oving into a time where poorly written code matters even more because if an agent misunderstands something, you'll burn a lot of tokens doing the wrong thing.

One of the biggest feature requests I've had over the last 24-hours is adding the ability to turn C, C++ and Python code into nice, clean, idiomatic Rust.

So I'm building that out now.

Rust on 🤘 🦀

bullish on founders who merge on a sunday

@Teknium reviewed, approved, and merged @weblyai into the @NousResearch hermes agent plugin catalog.

what a legend 🫡

bro spent 2 weeks in vancouver and figured out all of canada

vancouver has always been laid back but that doesn’t mean people here lack ambition. sounds like you just haven’t met the right people

also imo sf is the outlier, not the norm in america
Spent the last 2 weeks in Canada, and it's immediately clear why America will keep its competitive advantage forever.

Don't get me wrong, I love Canada! It's beautiful out here, and the people themselves are also lovely.

But! There is a serious lack of ambition, and an enormous amount of averseness to risk in a way that is not really fixable imo

huh this would be great in light of recent news. it would be even better if someone were to reverse engineer the main board for one of these TVs and replace with FOSH/FOSS...

what the fuck
this is pretty evil and clever.

so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device.

this gets shipped off to bixby.

this is insane

seriously, go check what your smart tv is doing behind the scenes. you have no idea how much data these things could be collecting
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners.

Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads.

Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was. n found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems.

This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

told claude code to put its own mascot
woah
this is crazy

had this divoom timebox lying around and wanted claude code to change what's on the screen cuz why not

after a bunch of back and forth, it still couldn't connect. at one point, it even turned on my webcam to try and see the screen without me asking

then it only listens right after a fresh bluetooth pairing re-paired it and boom. @weblyai logo was on the screen

all through claude code!!!
