So stoked to finally see this published! I’ve gotten to be a part of some really cool collaborations during my PhD, but I was always working on MAGE in the background. HUGE thanks to the co-authors: Surya Chhetri @MikeTassia @aabiddanda @smyan__ @genandgenes @alexisjbattle
Our latest study presents open access RNA-seq data from cell lines from 731 people from 26 globally diverse populations, addressing a persistent ancestry bias in our field. We hope this resource enables more equitable advances in personalized medicine. nature.com/articles/s4158…

So happy to finally see our MAGE paper out on bioRxiv!! I'm so excited about this data set; I hope this will be a valuable resource for the field of functional genomics. Congrats as well to my co-authors Surya Chhetri, @MikeTassia, @aabiddanda, @alexisjbattle, and @rajivmccoy
Our latest study led by @tlrdln22 examines the sources of gene expression variation in a diverse human sample. We hope that these RNA-seq data from cell lines of 731 individuals in the 1000 Genomes Project will serve as a useful resource for the field. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

So excited to present this work, and what an honor it was to work with @ArangRhie @sergeynurk @biomonika @Savy_Jade and all the other authors. We finally have a truly complete human genome reference!
"The complete sequence of a human Y chromosome" ✅ thanks to @ArangRhie @sergeynurk et al! #T2T 🧵 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

In the second part of @JHUTeachAcad seminar on ungrading, we discussed some of the different approaches to ungrading as well as benefits and outcomes #HopkinsTweets
Thank you so much to @JHU_CER for hosting this discussion series and @SusanDebraBlum for taking the time! It was awesome to hear the benefits of ungrading from a practitioner and ideas for integrating this approach into our own teaching. 12/12

The grades from these different approaches clearly have different meanings, and are still somewhat subjective on the part of the instructor, so should instructors be responsible for assigning a single final grade at all? 13/
