Truth is shorter than fiction. The first image is what ChatGPT proposed as a command line parse. The second is mine (half the size). Apologies for any bugs but you see the pattern?

Here's one I've dreamt of for a while: a LISP variant of "let" that handles let*, labels, multiple-value-bind. Built with perplexiity.ai. FYI it required much wrangling and testing, but the key expansion tactic seen at end of "lets" was all its idea (impressive).

Got any other cool LISP macros ? My one fav is to make "self" the first defmethod arg then use

(set-macro-character #\$
#'(lambda (s _) `(slot-value self ',(read s t nil t))))

so self's slots can be accessed/changed using just $slot

To appear, @ieeetse, Retrospective: Data Mining Static Attributes to Learn Defect Predictors.
- toasters predict for errors in satellites
- the best thing for data is to throw it away
- data quality matters less
- science has mud on the lens
- many hard SE problems, aren’t

"Dear Dr. Menzies
It is my privilege to confirm your elevation to ACM Fellow. Fellow is ACM's highest membership grade. The number of Fellows is limited and the criteria are very strict. Congratulations on this very significant honor."

I have so many people to thank...
