Coming Soon!

Was a pretty busy 2024, with much more to come in 2025. Going to be a little more active here, too. I'm pretty boring, but I love to write and tell stories as well as share what my amazing friends create. That oughta work, huh? Happy New Year!

My friend and fellow vet, Kevin Ikenberry (@thewriterike) wrote an amazing military sci-fi! I'm convinced it will take off if given enough eyes. Spread this far and wide!

Coming September 24th! I spent most of 2023 writing three novels in this universe for @AethonBooks and we're almost to release. All the books are available for pre-order now. Mount up, troopers. Time to put Steel On Target!

📣 Always a good day when the social feed opens with new #MilSF reads from my man @thewriterike

Check out his new collection at amazon.com/Death-Tracks-S… #scifibooks

I guess I should get back to posting here, huh? Anybody still listening?

Going to be at the #SuperstarsWritingSeminar next week? Don't miss the mass signing event! Some of the authors include @TheKJA, @cegannon1, @thewriterike, @DavidWeberBooks, as well as many others!

In paperwork this month, we have Kevin Ikenberry's THE CROSSING, a Ring of Fire story about a group of US Army officers sent back to just before the Battle of Trenton - and facing the choice of intervention.

Just finished editing a podcast I recorded this morning with @thewriterike ... now I want to go fishing and drink beer in gorgeous blue waters filled with giant aliens. 😂🎙️ #GuardianCovenant

PSST It's the last day to nominate books for the Dragon Awards and if you're into nominating books for Best Alternate History, might I recommend @thewriterike's The Crossing?

For a moment yesterday, the golf world was united and cheering for an "every man" even more loudly than we cheer for the pros and our heroes. @McIlroyRory is a class act, but #MichaelBlock saved golf for me yesterday. 6/6

I won't spoil what happened with Michael Block during the final round, but we were cheering for him. A hole in one? Amazing. Put watching that final putt fall and knowing he'd done something no club pro had done before defied description. 5/

And then yesterday happened at the PGA Championship. Actually, it was the whole week, but I only caught up yesterday when seeing an interview with a PGA Club Professional who found out he would be paired with @McIlroyRory.

Why? I'll be honest. The division between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour really disgusts me. I'm not an anti-pro sports person. I think sports are important on many levels, but I'd become disgusted by the pursuit of money. Why should I feed the beast anymore?

I always claimed the TV for the major tournaments and the Players Championship (b/c I played Sawgrass in 2000 - made par on 17, too). But starting last year, I wasn't watching as much golf, or following it as much. 3/
