We must migrate electronics assembly, test, & distribution on-shore in the US immediately. (e.g. Starlink)
It makes almost zero sense to bring silicon here and send everything back to China / Asia for assembly then back here for distribution / sale …

THE BORING COMPANY HQ: Bastrop, Texas, October
Here is my flyover of TBC's Bastrop headquarters and Prufrock factory. It's is where they test every machine before it ships, build and store equipment, precast tunnel segments, liner trucks, vertical cassettes and conveyor belt house their Prufrock Command Center here to control all the Prufrock's soon to be around the world.
- The SpaceX Pedestrian Tunnel started as Porpoise Test 6 (PT6). TBC first bored it to test (no people in the tunnel) ZPIT continuous mining, an upgraded liner truck and the "SNAILS on RAILS" navigation system. After the test, they turned it into a 500 ft walkway under FM1209 that connects the SpaceX site to Hyperloop Plaza, where The Boring Bodega is. People use it so they don't have to cross that busy road on foot.
- Hard-rock Prufrock-MB4 being constructed for Nashville's Music City LOOP.
- The Test Tunnel PT5 connects SpaceX's Starlink factory to TBC under FM1209. It was the first use of custom hexagonal segments, automated gantry steering, quick craneless retrieval, and the first version of ZPIT. It's now a test bench for liner trucks, vertical cassettes and new belt systems.
- Hyperloop Test Tunnel was PT4; the first craneless, pitless retrieval of the machine. It's now a vacuum tunnel for Hyperloop vacuum pump system testing. It also connects SpaceX's Starlink factory to TBC under FM1209.
- Lastly, Prufrock-5 after completing a test tunnel connecting Ring Ranch and possibly the SpaceX Starmind Factory. I videoed it right before it was loaded up and shipped to San Antonio, Texas, for the Morgan's Wonderland Tunnel.
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments. Subscriber Photo-thread and Support links in the thread.
Thanks for watching!

Yes 🎯👇… of course there’s risk in anything, but higher risk is not doing anything or moving too slow. Optionality has been created through speed, great engineering, and operational execution
@TSLAFanMtln is rushing to build as much compute as possible right now, because it can get paid for by other companies within 6-9months at current spot prices
Then, in 2 years from now as pricing begins to stabilize he can re route that same compute to Grok, FSD, robotaxis and humanoids as they scale up
So all that compute he’ll need in a couple years is just getting paid for by other companies now

Tesla's Cybercab just got a regulatory tailwind
NHTSA proposed changes to the federal vehicle lighting standard for driverless cars
Vehicles with no manual controls would no longer need physical hazard switches, beam shifters or turn signal levers
It also sets a standard for lights that show when the self-driving system is in control
The proposal publishes in the Federal Register on Oct 26, as part of DOT's push to make cars without steering wheels or pedals easier to build and sell
Cybercab of course has no steering wheel, no pedals and no mirrors
NHTSA did open an audit query last month into how Cybercab was certified, but the rules are now being rewritten around EXACTLY the kind of vehicle Tesla is building
Bullish $TSLA

$TSLA got 7 price target raises this morning.
Zero cuts. Zero downgrades.
- Piper Sandler: $475 (Overweight)
- Mizuho: $460 (Outperform)
- Canaccord: $442 (Buy)
- JPMorgan: $430 (Neutral)
- UBS: $425 (Neutral)
- Morgan Stanley: $410 (from $400)
- CLSA: $400, upgraded from Underperform to Hold
TD Cowen reiterated Buy at $460. Goldman stayed Neutral at $360.
My take?
Wall Street saw what it's buying: 75%+ FSD attach rate on new North American deliveries, positive free cash flow, and the biggest backlog in 4 years 🔥🚀

Comping to spcx is will make you go crazy… spcx is doubling revenue every quarter as says they will 5x 2026 revenue for 2027 on the LOW END , TSLA is not doing that lol yet. There’s a reason there’s a difference folks.
But many many good things from this call.

Super rare to find a team that works as hard as the @optivolt team. What they’re building will disrupt the solar industry and I am proud to have been behind them, advising since day 1! Very proud!
Today I’m excited to share that Optivolt is unstealthing with a $32M Series A.
Solar growth continues to outpace all other forms of energy production, but the granularity of control we get from deployed systems hasn’t changed in decades.
So we’ve added a brain inside solar panels, opening the door for a new unit of optimization and control.

Elon isn’t just referencing Spacex CAPACITY for blades and vanes gas turbines, he’s referencing the casting technical CAPABILITIES of Spacex (materials, mechanical properties, and process tolerances / capabilities ) that others just do not have
Elon Musk: "It is absolutely insane to be deploying, providing the power and all of the electrical equipment, the cooling, the batteries, the networking, and everything else that's needed to turn on 220,000 GB300s a month.
But that is actually what we're doing right now."
ident" of 13 GW of compute by end of 2027, and 23 GW is possible.
It also casts its own turbine blades to skip a 12 to 18 month wait.

SpaceX just crushed Q3.
Revenue: $14.57 billion vs. $12.87 billion expected.
EPS: $0.35 vs. $0.13 expected. A 160% beat.
Look at the trajectory. Revenue went from $4.7 billion in Q1 to $7.8 billion in Q2 to $14.6 billion now, nearly doubling every quarter. EPS went from .35.
From deep losses to real profit in three quarters. That’s the compute buildout hitting the income statement.
On today’s earnings, SpaceX still looks expensive. But this is the early part of the curve. Management is targeting a $100 billion revenue run rate by year end, and if compute keeps scaling toward 5 gigawatts by the end of 2027, earnings grow into the valuation fast.
Stock up nearly 5% after hours.
The next test is already scheduled: the biggest unlock yet lands in two days.

Good list 👇 $TSLA SPCX
There's a lot of speculation around an incoming SpaceX and Tesla merger
Here's 8 ways both companies BENEFIT IF it happens:
1. Investment-grade debt instead of private credit
$TSLA has $43.5B of cash and did $4.7B of operating cash flow last quarter. $SPCX is seeking $40B of ips and Morgan Stanley estimates it needs ~$84B of outside capital per YEAR through 2034
A combined company funds this with cash flow and investment-grade debt instead of private credit. Saving even 2-3 points of interest on $40B is $1B+ a year, and that compounds across the entire buildout
2. Starlink replaces cellular in every Tesla
Today, carriers collect an estimated $10/month per connected car, a large % of the total Tesla charges. Moving this in-house to Starlink not only means 100% of revenues moves in-house, but also a better product with (eventually) no dead zones
3. Starlink for Robotaxi and Humanoid Robots
Cybercabs are already getting built with Starlink inside them, a merger would mean this can come with no additional cost/sale required between the companies
4. Compute at cost and better optionality
Tesla has its own training compute today, which doubled in the first half of 2026, but FSD, Robotaxi and Optimus are only just getting started and they will need a LOT more compute
SpaceX is already building this out at size with 10GW expected by EOY 2027. Rather than leasing this to Tesla at market prices ($30M/MW ish right now), Tesla's extra demand can simply run on SpaceX compute at cost
SpaceX also now has more optionally with their compute. To move between leasing, using for Grok or now using for Tesla products
4. Energy at cost
Tesla deployed 13.7 GWh of energy storage last quarter and xAI/SpaceX is one of Tesla's biggest customers ($430M of mostly Megapack revenue in 2025).
Merged, the data centers get Megapacks at cost with guaranteed supply, and yes, that intercompany revenue disappears in consolidation, but it's a wash since it's saved as an expense on the other side
5. Terafab gets built FASTER
Terafab today is a joint venture between two separately owned companies, so every major decision crosses two boards, two capital committees, and negotiated cost-sharing agreements.
Merged, one owner makes the call and capital moves the same day. Construction starts in December, and that speed advantage compounds through every phase after the first $16.8B. Elon's whole edge is iteration speed, and a JV structure is the opposite of that
6. Killing the duplicate overhead
Two public companies means two of everything: two legal departments, two HR orgs, two finance and audit functions, two IR teams, two procurement groups buying from the same suppliers.
Combined SG&A is about $11.2B. Cutting 15-25% of the ~$3.4B corporate slice of that is about $0.5-0.9B a year (est). Not the headline reason to merge, but still useful
7. A potential tax arbitrage
SpaceX's AI buildout generated $3.7B of losses in the first half alone
Merged, those losses offset Tesla's taxable profit at the 21% corporate rate, worth roughly $0.3-1.0B a year
Though looks like SpaceX is soon going to generate a profit, so this may be irrelevant after next earnings
8. Combined Data for Training
Tesla's fleet generates real-world data, X and Grok have additional data and SpaceX has its own data. Currently Tesla and SpaceX data are separate and have corporate boundaries and conflict disclosure issues
Once merged, this can all be combined for more data, all in one place, trained across the same GPU clusters
And of course big picture, there is plenty of overlap across all of SpaceX and Tesla products, so having it under one roof means they can build for a more seamless future (see my post below for more details on this)
What else am I missing?
Also, I remain bullish on both of these companies and both have a spot in my Milk Road PRO portfolio. You can see my entire portoflio here: link.milkroad.com/t5837z
