Let’s talk about @computerblood ‘s imaginative & compelling new collection of what *could* be PFP’s… foundation.app/collection/viv… the “Skulls of Lucifer”.
With the goal of 666 unique renderings these anthropomorphic skulls present a hallucinogenic detour into dissection and abstAKA Whalesink rolls his proverbial sleeves up twice a day to create new skulls for the collection & the result is remarkable - from holographic hellhounds to monochromatic demons, biblical perversions to maniacal imps - the collection is rich in sigils and visual puns. These images create a visual repast & the collectors get a sense of having found something akin to an archeological artifact from the 9th Circle of Hell after ingesting a heroic dose of psilocybin. I feel Whalesink has inadvertently created a “new” kind of PFP - one that is primarily and critically about the Art. As a collector it has become evident as the “SOL”collection grows that it has attracted attention from not only other collectors but also respected artists who have scooped these pieces.
Will artists who put the Art forward and offer their collectors unique pieces at a nominal price (.0666 in the case of the opening bids for each “SOL” auction) - and who choose to leave behind the cheap cut n’ paste “trait sharing” (read: low effort) aesthetic that so many PFP collections defaulted to in the past raise the bar in this vanguard? Time will tell; but @computerblood leads the way.

Making new friends & finding real connection matters.
The experiences we had in Marfa ripple out in unexpected ways.
@LeftWithTheArt knows what that feels like.

one of my fave pieces of physical Art I received in Marfa this year
I’d guess around a 40 year-old crayon rubbing on manilla paper
I found tucked into a book at the Marfa thrift store
And
That banger of a drone show at the @creepz party
These bookend my brain
ART IS

These war crimes should not stand. Please do the right thing @realDonaldTrump
Absolute hell near Odesa.
A russian drone has struck a Tavria V supermarket.
A supermarket. In broad daylight.
This is who Trump is helping: terrorists who target civilians.

Behold, the Felonious Four, masterminds of the horrifically-botched Talarico Mental Health Hoax: @nicksortor, @RheinAmacher, @KenPaxtonTX & @TickleTexts. I don't understand why such a wholesome, honest group would do something so dishonest.
