"What kinds of problems do you work with in your coaching?"

1. Invasive thoughts, how psychology points to prayer as the answer, and practical ways to fight them and embrace peace.

2. Understanding why God allows us to wrestle with sin, and how to approach the battle in a more meaningful, less legalistic and shame-fueled way.

3. Existential therapy, such as invasive thoughts about free will and other philosophical subjects.

4. Orthodox approaches to trauma in the past, or approaches to active difficult relationships.

5. Catholics, Protestants, and others who are spiritually seeking and want an Orthodox perspective, but without feeling pushed.

6. Someone who is simply safe to verbal process with, sometimes a supplement to having a busy priest who doesn't have enough time or energy.

7. Offer insight about how to do clinical psychology and mentorship from an Orthodox perspective, including in a secular context.

Ideally, some or all of this is addressed with your priest, but in reality this is not an option for a lot of people for a variety of reasons. By God's mercy, I have the blessing of my priest to be a "supplement" for people in need, and so far the priests of my clients have been happy having had their parishioners work with me.

Feel free to contact me anytime to ask more. I do calls but also emails and voice messages.

"Well what about..."

There are exceptions, but for the Christian this is the default. This way of life should be always fought for and always increasing, and exceptions don't change that.

The devil wants us to find every excuse not to live this basic Christian way of struggling. To make excuses not to fight for this is to give up on our salvation.

Everyone pronounces it Young or Yoong, but it's actually in between. It does not rhyme with Luck or Luke, but Look

This applies to politics and theology, but also even to thoughts.

If we believe every though that enters our head, we will be the most decieved of all. We must especially be suspicious and cautious with thoughts of judgement, no matter how correct they are or seem.
If you never train in yourself the habit of always making sure you've heard out both sides, anyone can easily convince you of anything.

Judges 4:21

But Jael the wife of Heber took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand. Then she went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple until it went down into the ground while he was lying fast asleep from weariness. So he died.
