Jockey Davis comes west and earns first graded stakes win with Eastern invader People Watching in the Grade III Autumn Miss Stakes for 3-year-old fillies going one mile on turf Sunday 🔥🏇

“It’s a 360 circle for me and getting my first graded stake, I have to thank Glen Hill Farms, Tom Proctor for giving me this opportunity and I’m happy I got the job done.
“I knew a couple of guys were behind me trying to catch me but  I knew she had it once her ears threw up, up next to her she would have dug back in.
“I slept the whole way here and I’ll sleep the whole way back. I don’t have a hard time sleeping. This will be a goodnight home.
“What can I say, I am a people person and I give back to the people. I love this industry and if can give them the excitement and we can all enjoy it together, why not. I guess they just feed off my energy.”

I'm pretty sure he's going to win the best Halloween costume indefinitely.

I can't take the cuteness, omergerd. Chubby little cheeks and his silks.

😍🐴😁🏇

Bama QB more classy than their fans. Waits so he can shake Gunner’s hand.

4,000 career wins. Thousands of memories. One grateful heart. 🏇🏆

I can't help but feel for this young family. Kyle Gilbert is just 30, with two young children and another on the way, and now faces a long recovery after an injury that ended his riding career. My heart goes out to all of them. paulickreport.com/news/people/jo…

Gilbert, 30, underwent extensive spinal surgery Thursday, with doctors cautioning that the first 24 hours of recovery would be critical.

BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Over the past four days, I’ve purchased 1 million shares and close to a 1.5% stake in @ChurchillDowns, and I may acquire more. I’m extremely excited about the possibilities.

Churchill has tremendous assets, led by what I believe is the global crown jewel of horse racing, the @KentuckyDerby. Last year’s Derby peaked at 24.4 million viewers. To me, that’s a major proof point of how BIG this sport can become.

As the owner of Repole Stable, one of the largest, most successful and recognizable stables in the country, I see firsthand the potential of what I believe is one of the most undervalued sports nationally and globally.

Horse racing needs more education, real marketing, innovation, and evolution. It also needs stronger leadership and greater accountability from the Old Guard racing entities that, in my opinion, have held the industry back for far too long.

Nobody loves building epic businesses and brands in a disruptive way more than I do.

I believe a meaningful ownership stake in Churchill gives me the greatest opportunity to help create value for Churchill shareholders AND make a positive financial impact across all of racing.

Growing this sport means growing opportunities for everyone, owners, breeders, track operators, horseplayers, fans, and everyone whose livelihood depends on racing.

I really look forward to working with CEO Bill Carstanjen, his board, and management team to help turn that potential into both short term and long term results.

Think Big. Dream Bigger.

You got HISA/ tracks fining jockeys for hitting a horse over 6 strikes and then you got Delaware Park stewards suspending one of their leading riders who always tries his best for making the decision not to persevere with a horse who clearly was not good enough?! Runs back 2 weeks later and is eased again yet @chuan_martin gets fined and 15 days?!?! What is the message being sent here exactly? Ridiculous, do better.
