The Bishop of Bath and Wells is moving a motion to adjourn the debate on item 21.

The motion, as amended, is carried in all three houses of #Synod.

The Vacancy in See Committees (Amendment) Regulation 2025 has been affirmed and proclaimed an Act of #Synod and comes into force immediately.

this amendment would remove the prohibition on the chair of the Vacancy in See Committee
from elected membership of the CNC but would retain the prohibition on bishops from such membership.
