One chart should change how many think about cancer.

This is U.S. survival data from patients diagnosed between 2011 and 2017.

Local = cancer is only in the organ where it started.

Regional = cancer has reached nearby lymph nodes or tissues.

Distant = cancer has spread to what happens to 5-year survival:

Breast cancer
99% (local)
86% (regional)
29% (distant)

Colon cancer
91%
72%
14%

Melanoma
99%
68%
30%

Prostate cancer

99%
99%
31%

Lung cancer
60%
33%
6%

Pancreatic cancer
42%
14%
3%

The numbers are not current. This data is now several years old.

Since then, treatment has improved significantly for melanoma, lung cancer, kidney cancer, and some blood cancers thanks to immunotherapy and targeted therapies.

Progress has been slower for pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, and metastatic colorectal cancer.

The percentages have changed. The pattern has not.

For many cancers, the biggest difference is not the cancer itself. It’s whether it is found before or after it spreads.

I’m gifting 10 @function MRI scans.

Comment “long live @_____” and tag one person you want to live 100 healthy years.

The @function team will randomly select the gift recipients—both those who comment + the person mentioned—after 6 PM on July 25th.

A rush of people have $499 / 22 minute MRI scan since we launched it a few weeks ago. So many are sharing stories of life-changing results.

The above photo is a recent shot of my brain. I love my brain, and thankfully everything is ‘unremarkable’, meaning nothing concerning. High school teachers were right about me being unremarkable.

We believe everyone should have an Annual MRI scan now that it is both so fast and widely available.

Function’s MRI Scan:
• 22 minutes
• $499
• FDA-cleared AI
• No ionizing radiation (MRI uses magnets)
• Available in 100+ U.S. locations, and now the UK.
• Designed for annual scanning

It screens for 500+ conditions including:
• Signals of cancer in the brain, thyroid, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, ovaries, uterus, and prostate
• Findings associated with the risk of stroke and aneurysms
- Evidence of abnormal cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, fatty liver, hernias, kidney stones, iron overload, diverticulitis, and more

It’s time you own your health.
