In 2018, I visited Rohingya bastis in Jammu

An intelligence (IB) officer told me he had recorded 1,548 Rohingya families living in the region by then

I asked one Rohingya, 60-year-old Sayed Hussain, how he ended up in faraway Jammu after crossing the border in West Bengal. “I I saw [at Kolkata station]. It was noon. The journey ended at Jammu," he said

Hussain said he was among the first Rohingya to have settled in Jammu’s Bhatindi area 10 years earlier

Another Rohingya, 27-year-old Mohammed Tahir, also gave the same reason

Later, the IB officer laughed at this explanation. Told me, “By all accounts, they boarded the Sealdah Express that crosses Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab before reaching Jammu. It’s an arduous two-day journey. Why did they not get down at any of the stations in between?”

There is a syndicate active in Kolkata that has facilitated Rohingya migration to Jammu for years. They tell the Rohingya that the only Muslim-majority state in India is their "natural home"

Ironically, most settle in Hindu-majority Jammu and not Muslim-majority Kashmir. The officer showed me figures on how Rohingya are scattered over 42 sites across Jammu, meaning they are being settled all over the region, and many Army camps were now surrounded by them

In 2015, Abdur Rehman al Arkani, a Jihadi killed by security forces in south Kashmir, was from Rakhine from Myanmar. He went by pseudonym “Chota Burmi”

Role of several Rohingya men in helping Pakistani Jihadis trespass Jammu border had surfaced by then. They are considered experts in infiltration as they are deft in cutting the fence, know tunneling, and are skilled in camouflage. Plus, they have a victimhood narrative of being wronged by qafirs - the Buddhists of Myanmar

In Jammu's Bhatinda are I visited, it was a surprise how quickly they had flourished, as if being pampered and nurtured. An entire lane of shops was called "Burmi market". Most dry fruits factories were employing Rohingya women for cracking walnuts

Local Hindus told me how these infiltrators had bigger and better stocked shops than them, who had lived here for generations

The officer told me how using the UNHCR cards, which have no legal status or validity in India, Rohingya have obtained Aadhaar cards, ration cards and, in some cases, even permanent resident certificate (PRC) cards, all through fraudulent means

Eight years later, these Rohingya are all still there in Jammu. Apparently the govt is running an anti-encroachment drive these days asking them to clear the areas they have illegally occupied, and some of them have reportedly begun to leave

But the exercise is looking more like a temporary inconvenience for the infiltrators than a serious effort to clear Jammu and India of them.

Each time you talk of freedom of speech, hang your head in shame & remember Professor Ambikesh Mahapatra who lost his job, lost 11 years of his career and lost just about everything, because YOU HOUNDED him for a harmless cartoon..so zip it
The freedom of speech and expression is being taken away from lakhs of citizens across the country.
This BJP government does not care about Article 14, Article 19 and Article 21 of our great Constitution. This government wants to deprive all citizens, including elected representatives, of their right to express themselves freely.
We extend our support to students, youth, social media users, vloggers, YouTubers, and independent digital platforms. We demand that they must be allowed to express themselves freely. Full strength to them as we, all together, fight this dangerous trend of censorship.
Instead of indulging in atrocities against citizens on social media, this government should focus on taking care of the North East along with ensuring the safety and security of all people across the country.

This just shows your ignorance of history.
It's utterly false to claim that cow-slaughter and beef consumption were socially acceptable in ancient Kerala.

Multiple independent foreign eyewitness accounts spanning nearly five centuries observed that cows and eating beef in Kerala and punishable by death. As early as 1292–1294 CE, Marco Polo, while visiting the Malabar coast, records in The Travels of Marco Polo (Yule–Cordier edition, Vol. II, Chapter XVII): "The people are Idolaters, and many of them worship the ox, because (say they) it is a creature of such excellence. They would not eat beef for anything in the world, nor would they on any account kill an ox." (Img 1) Obviously this cannot be just a casual observation. His words "For anything in the world" and "on any account" don’t leave any ambiguity. Cow-slaughter and beef eating were absolutely prohibited in Kerala.

A century later, Persian envoy Abdul Razzaq Samarqandi who went to Calicut between 1442–45 CE, described how cow-killing was a capital offense in Kerala: "The only crime is to kill cows and eat beef. If anyone kills a cow and it is found out, that person is immediately put to death. They venerate cows to such an extent that they rub the ashes of its dung on their foreheads (God's curses upon them)."

Russian merchant Athanasius (Afanasy) Nikitin who visited Kerala from 1466-72 CE, independently confirmed the same prohibition: "The Hindoos eat no meat, no cow flesh, no mutton, no chicken." Interestingly Nikitin points out that the only flesh eaten at banquets in Malabar was Pork and that Hindus never ate with Muslims! (Img 2) "The banquets were all on pork; and pigs are in great abundance. They take their meals twice a day, but not at night, and drink no wine nor mead; but with Mahommedans they neither eat nor drink.” Nikitin even points out that Hindus would not even let Mahommedans look into their pot, or look at their food and if this happened, they would not eat that food anymore!

Even as late as the 19th c. when Jesuit missionary F. (Father) Clifford of Society of Jesus travelled to Malabar region to reestablish missions in Madura, he observed that the “Pariah” (lower castes) had become accustomed to the Europeans and their modes of life but even they would be outraged and it would deeply “shock their peculiar prejudices” if a European Priest ate beef in front of them. The Jesuit priests who met Clifford said they had never even tasted meat, or wine, but lived entirely on rice and fish - to avoid social outrage. This tells you how important beef prohibition was even to lowest class Hindu society in medieval Malabar region. (Img 3)

Kerala’s own temple inscriptions reinforce this fact. 12th c. Inscriptions from Tiruvidaikkodu temple and Kaliyangadu temple specifically warn that obstructing temple charity incurs a sin equal to killing a tawny cow because cow-slaughter was regarded as the ultimate sin. (Img 4)

Cow-killing & beef eating were always religiously prohibited, socially taboo, and strictly punishable in Kerala.

Tipu forcing Kerala's Hindus to eat beef was one of the most heinous religious crimes. Stop trying to defend the indefensible with false BS about history that you have no clue about.
Tipu Sultan was born in 1751. Sangam literature written in South India around 300 BCE already records beef and meat consumption in the region, Did Tipu build a time machine, go back 2,000 years, and force people in ancient Malabar to eat beef too?

"They were focusing on education, institutions, your focus on poop"
Wow what logic.

Congress "built institutions" so that 60 crore Indians in 2014 still had to defecate in open?
That 11 crore women had to wait for darkness to relieve themselves?
That 23% girls dropped out of school because there was no toilet?

You call toilet "poop"?
WHO calls toilet dignity. UNESCO calls it dignity.
J L Nehru built IITs for 0.01% of India, but forgot that 70% of India had no toilet.
That's not institution building, that's elite building.

Facts for Gen Z:
1. In 2014, India had 60% open defecation - highest in world. After toilets, it is <11%. That's not "poop", that's public health. Diarrhea deaths reduced by 3 lakh/year per WHO.

2. You say "dismantling institutions"? Which institution?
- IITs were 16 in 2014, now 23
- IIMs 13 to 21
- AIIMS 7 to 23
- Medical colleges 381 to 706
This is dismantling? This is 2x building.

3. If building institutions was your job, why 4 crore fake ration cards, 11 crore toilets, 12 crore tap water pending for 70 years?
Because you built institutions for Lutyens to give lectures in, not for Bharat to live in.

Toilet is not "poop".
Toilet is izzat for a woman. If you don't understand that, you never understood India.

Shame on you!!
They were focusing on education, building Institutions etc .
Your focus has been on poop. Hence ,your have been dismantling institutions and building toilets for poop.

This was in the late 1970s.
A relative of mine, who lived in one of the poshest localities of Delhi, had been educated at one of the best boarding schools in India, and whose father had held powerful positions in the government, joined JNU to pursue a PhD.

I saw him one day in the canteen and walked across only to find him look right through me.

A few months later, at a family dinner, I was taken aback when he came up to me and told me, almost apologetically, that he would prefer not to associate with me in any way at college. I was not to let anyone know that we were related.

I would occasionally see him arrive on a Vespa scooter, dressed in a shabby kurta and pyjama, and head straight for a dhaba or canteen, where he would sit for hours with a few others like him.

I was subsequently told by another cousin that his driver, an absolute luxury in those days, would follow him on a scooter to a designated point. There, the driver would hand the scooter over to our budding proletarian and take the car back home.

All this charade only to establish his credentials.

Cut to a good twenty years later, at a family wedding. He greeted me with great warmth.

By then, as the family grapevine had it, he wasn’t doing much beyond occupying one part of the house his father had built and renting out the other half.

When he caught up with what I was now doing he caustically remarked, “So, you run a business, is it?”

“Yes. I work hard and generate a livelihood for around sixty people, who work equally hard.”

“Well, some of us have to do bigger and greater stuff,” he had replied.

My husband later told me that if looks could kill, the man would have been reduced to cinder.

I have to say that if I have great disdain today at big bindis, shabby kurtas, dirty feet and stubble, sported by people who, in those days, could be found chuffing away at imported 555s or sipping single malt while posturing as champions of the proletariat, it is because of him.

He left me with a lifelong allergy to hypocrisy passed off as ideology.

Beyond Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow, there are only 2–3 industrialists' bungalows on that road.

There is one grand bungalow on that road. It is called "Niranter."

This bungalow is three times larger than Amitabh Bachchan's. It has a lawn of nearly 3 acres and is extremely opulent.

Anyone would be stunned to hear that such a lavish bungalow exists in an elite area like Juhu, Mumbai!

But this bungalow doesn't belong to a superstar or an industrialist.

Do you know who owns it?

**Teesta Javed Setalvad** – just a "social activist"!

Now read on patiently to the end – your eyes, ears and mind will all begin to open.

Between 2004 and 2012, she received crores of dollars in funding from abroad.

For what? To uplift the poor?

But there is something more...

Why are these people so anti-India?

Their forefathers sowed this seed.

👇Start here. Read the history Congress hid from us.

The Hunter Commission was the inquiry committee that gave General Dyer a clean chit – the same Dyer who ordered the firing at the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

A member of this commission was Harilal Chimanlal Setalvad, great-grandfather of Teesta Setalvad.

In other words, the ancestor of the present owners of the bungalow described above.

It was Harilal's son, Motilal Chimanlal Setalvad – Teesta's grandfather – who acquitted General Dyer.

After independence, Nehru appointed this same Motilal Setalvad as India's Attorney General.

This is living proof of Nehru's loyalty to the British.

The story doesn't end here...

**Read on.**

While General Dyer was being tried, Diwan Bahadur Kunj Behari Thapar, showing his loyalty to the British, collected Rs. 1.5 lakh for General Dyer and honored him by presenting him with a kirpan and a turban.

This same Kunj Behari Thapar is the great-grandfather of **Karan Thapar**.

The Thapar family grew rich during British rule, especially by supplying troops and materials during the First World War.

Today, when the Thapar family displays its loyalty, it should be no surprise where the kirpan and turban came from.

All this happened in the management of the Golden Temple, where two contractors, **Sujan Singh** and **Sobha Singh**, were the main contractors.

When the British shifted India's capital from Calcutta to Delhi, these two took over all the construction contracts.

Sobha Singh's son **Khushwant Singh** was a famous writer and a supporter of Indira Gandhi. He wrote articles in favor of the Emergency.

Khushwant Singh's son, **Rahul Singh**, keeps promoting anti-India views on NDTV by glorifying figures like Teesta Setalvad and Arundhati Roy.

Speaking of the Thapar family...

Karan Thapar's father, **Pran Nath Thapar**, was the commander in the 1962 China war – a war India lost.

Earlier, General K.S. Thimayya had recommended Lt. Gen. S.P.P. Thorat as his successor.

But Nehru rejected that recommendation and appointed Pran Nath Thapar.

– Another example of the British mindset.

Not only that – Pran Nath Thapar's brother is **Mayadas Thapar**, and his daughter is **Romila Thapar**, after whom Indian school history textbooks are named.

Nehru made this appointment too.

Strangely, the names of those who lost the 1962 war are not found in these history books.

Just because these books were written by their nieces!

This is the same wealthy family – which grew rich through bribes during the British era – that still holds India's history and identity hostage today.

These are the same people who regard themselves as the monopolists of progress.

These are the same people who spread lies and stop India's true identity from emerging.

After independence, Nehru and Congress protected British interests by giving these very people important posts.

Teesta Setalvad went to jail – this was not just the fall of one fraudster... but the fall of an entire parasitic system, whose roots were planted generations ago.

Only Commie Mallus have the audacity to lie so brazenly.

Calling Sanatana Dharma “foreign” when we have so many examples of Kerala being associated with Sanatana Dharma.

Adi Shankaracharya.
• Born in Kalady, Kerala, around the 8th century CE.
• Travelled across the Indian subcontinent, engaging scholars in philosophical debates for Advaita Vedanta.

• Koodalmanikyam Temple in 855CE

• The Alwar devotional tradition praised Aranmula in sacred Vishnu shrines of the South in 6th–9th centuries

• Kerala scholar Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri composed the Narayaneeyam in 1587 CE

And I have so many examples to give that I can write a book on the same.

Kerala has been a significant centre of Hindu philosophy, temple traditions, devotional literature and spiritual reform for centuries.

Kerala was, is and will remain a centre of Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism. No amount of whitewashing will remove this truth.
