Britain just crossed £3 TRILLION in national debt.

Yet ahead of the Budget, Andy Burnham's answer is to hand English mayors another £1.5 BILLION borrowing facility.

We are already spending £100bn+ a year just on debt interest, money that should be funding schools, hospitals, or tax cuts for squeezed families.

Yes, sensible investment matters, and £1.5bn isn't the whole debt pile. But borrowing isn't free money, it's a habit Whitehall refuses to break.

How about trying something radical?

Cut waste, get value for what we already spend, and live within our means.

The government is pursuing military veterans for £5.1 MILLION in pension overpayments caused by administrative errors.

335 veterans were affected, with some facing demands to repay tens of thousands of pounds.

Now compare that with asylum hotel spending.

The government spent £2.1 BILLION on asylum hotels in 2024/25.

That's £5.77 MILLION EVERY SINGLE DAY.

More spent on asylum hotels in ONE DAY than the entire amount overpaid to these veterans.

These are people who served their country and trusted their pensions were being calculated correctly.

So who exactly is this government prioritising?

Should veterans be made to pay for government mistakes?

If you think our veterans deserve better, please SHARE.

🚨 SMALL BOATS: THE COST DOESN'T STOP AT ARRIVAL!

Hotels, accommodation, asylum claims, appeals and removals. The bill keeps growing.

Moving people out of hotels doesn't make the costs disappear.

I joined @Nanaakua1 to discuss Britain's asylum system.

🚨 Labour promised 1.5 MILLION homes. So where are they? 🏠

🔴 Construction down FOUR months running.

🔴 Private housebuilding down 3.2%.

🔴 Over ONE MILLION homes still to deliver.

I joined @Iromg to discuss Labour's promises versus reality.

Promises don't build houses! 👇

🚨 BRITAIN'S BENEFITS SYSTEM — HAS IT GONE TOO FAR?

@Nanaakua1 didn't hold back on GB News as we debated ADHD, anxiety and Labour's resistance to welfare reform.

The system was meant to be a safety net. But is it still sustainable?

🚨 BRITAIN'S DEBT TOPS £3 TRILLION!

In just six months:

🔴 Tax receipts UP £26.8bn
🔴 Government spending UP £30.8bn
🔴 Another £97.8bn borrowed

Borrowing is £6bn ABOVE forecast.

We're paying more tax, yet spending and debt keep rising.

Britain has a SPENDING problem!

🚨 UK INFLATION RISES TO 3.5%!

⛽ Motor fuel prices up 29.8% in a year.

⛽ Diesel averaged 192.5p/litre in September — now around 199p!

At today's prices, around 86p per litre is TAX, including nearly 10p MORE VAT than before the Iran conflict.

Should fuel taxes be cut?

🚨 SMALL BUSINESS JOB VACANCIES PLUNGE BY A THIRD!

New ONS figures show vacancies at firms employing 1–9 people have fallen 32.8% in a year.

That's 38,000 fewer job opportunities.

Labour has hiked employers' National Insurance. Even the ONS warns rising costs may be discouraging recruitment.

Is Labour pricing jobs out of existence?

🥩🥚 STEAK AND EGGS — NOW A LUXURY MEAL IN BRITAIN?!

Food prices have surged 38.2% over the past five years.

But look at some of the increases:

🔴 Beef and veal: +60.4%
🔴 Eggs: +56.1%
🔴 Lamb and goat: +55.0%
🔴 Pork: +51.8%
🔴 Olive oil: +109.7%

A weekly food shop costing ost around £83.

That's almost £1,200 EXTRA a year for the same groceries!

I joined @MartinDaubney to discuss the impact of rising food prices on hardworking Brits.

💬 What's become too expensive for your weekly shop?
