Every year, hundreds of thousands of people in this country hear the words no one wants to hear. What follows is a path that tests every part of who we are: physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. The challenges ripple outwards, touching families, friendships, nts we spend alone with our thoughts.

Cancer doesn’t just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life. I know this personally, and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone.

I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge, not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back. The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people.

Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare. Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis. Holistic therapies complement clinical pathways and support patients’ ability to maintain their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during an exceptionally difficult time.

We have an opportunity to reshape what the future of holistic cancer care looks like, enabling more people, nationwide, to access the kind of personalised support that can help make a meaningful difference during and after medical treatment.

This challenge will support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping to transform access to, and understanding of, holistic care that will enhance recovery and healing for patients across the UK.

Healing, whether personal or collective, is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live. Between effort and acceptance, between control and trust, between thinking and simply being. Because in the end, bravery isn’t just about pushing forward. It is about knowing how to stay grounded, connected and present, no matter the terrain, or landscape you are walking through.

Together, we can stand alongside everyone navigating life with cancer, ensuring no one faces this disease feeling unseen or unsupported.

Please know you are not alone.

Meghan Markle: Social media companies exploit children for clicks and money.

Also Meghan Markle: I exploit my kids, mostly my daughter, using the same social media companies for clicks and money.

She's a joke on this topic and no one with active braincells will ever take her ves by what she preaches, but she's too addicted to exploiting herself and her family for clicks and money to do anything else. The more she does this, the more a fool she looks and yet she remains oblivious to her own hypocrisy.

@thetimesa@RoyaNikkhaht@KateManseys@eleanorhaywardesn’t expose a contradiction, it exposes the opposite. It shows a monarchy that understands relevance isn’t spectacle, trauma or confessionals, but continuity, responsibility and modelling values across generations. Teaching the future King that homelessness exists, that it’s structural, and that privilege carries obligation is not “branding”, it’s constitutional literacy. The contradiction only exists if you believe the monarchy’s purpose is emotional exhibitionism rather than service. William isn’t trying to be relatable by oversharing, he’s being relevant by preparing his child to understand the country he will one day represent. What’s actually dated here is royal journalism that still behaves like fandom. The embarrassing giggling, breathless fixation on Harry, as if he’s still a poster on your teenage bedroom wall, is exactly why this matters. A grown-up monarchy living grounded lives with grounded children quietly destroys a media business model built on drama, rupture and inherited trauma. That’s why this unsettles people. William and Catherine don’t perform chaos, they neutralise it. And for an industry that has monetised royal dysfunction for decades, that calm is far more threatening than any so-called contradiction

@RoyaNikkhahretending this has ever been complicated. Catherine isn’t just “a popular royal woman.” She is the mother of a future king. That makes her the monarchy’s central human asset. That’s not PR. That’s the constitution. And yet for nearly eight years she’s been treated as disposable so a louder, more profitable story could be sold. The original lie was equivalence. Two women. Two futures. A rivalry. There never was. Constitutionally, Meghan isn’t like Fergie - she is Fergie. Married to the spare. Outside the line. Structurally peripheral. That’s not cruelty, it’s how monarchy works. The cruelty was pretending otherwise - because that fantasy required Catherine to be undermined. Meghan was never Diana. Diana mattered because she carried the future of the Crown. Harry, however, has increasingly been encouraged to be Diana - traumatised, endangered, convinced everyone is out to get him. Meghan has played the Bashir role: validating fear, feeding grievance, shaping a story that isolates him while flattering his wounds. They didn’t even hide it. Endgame. A game. Catherine is the casualty of that game - precisely because she couldn’t fight back without damaging the institution she was trying to protect. Oprah was sold as vulnerability. In hindsight, it reads as leverage. “It would be too damaging to their reputation” wasn’t concern - it was a threat. Catherine will have known that. William too. The public caught up later. And here’s the part the media still won’t say out loud: if we take Harry and Meghan’s own logic seriously - that sustained stress, public vilification and psychological pressure cause real harm - then William would be entirely within his rights to ask whether the years-long campaign against his wife contributed to her illness. Whether science can draw a straight line isn’t the point. The pressure was real. The duration was extreme. The risk was obvious. Harry’s trauma is real. That’s exactly why this is so disturbing. He hasn’t been helped to integrate it - he’s been encouraged to perform it, monetise it, and build an identity around it. Diana is the template. Harry is the one living it. Meghan isn’t the wounded figure here. She’s the narrator. The interpreter. The Bashir. And the press? You’ve known for years that the Meghan narrative was a lie. Not misunderstood. Not exaggerated. A lie. She was never a passive victim. She was an active player from the start.
Catherine, meanwhile, absorbed it all in silence - smiling, enduring, and carrying the future of the monarchy while others played games with trauma, reputations and power. That isn’t weakness. It’s restraint. And it’s long past time it was named as such.

6–8 whole cloves
4–6 allspice berries
2 star anise pods
4 cardamom pods (lightly crushed)
1 strip of orange peel (fresh, not bitter white pith)
1 strip of lemon peel (optional for brightness)
1–2 slices of fresh ginger or ½ tsp dried ginger
(Adjust to suit your taste.)

Optional add-ins:
A dash of nutmeg or mace for richness
A few peppercorns for a subtle edge
1–2 tbsp honey or brown sugar to round it out
Carmel bourbon, or other liquor, in cider

How to Use:
Wrap the spices in cheesecloth or put them in a tea infuser or reusable muslin bag (so you don’t have to strain later).
Simmer gently in wine, cider, or cranberry juice for 20–30 minutes (never boil).

Make it Giftable:
If you want to create giftable spice sachets, combine dry spices (no peel) in small bags, and pair with a recipe / how to use tag. Perfect for hostess gift to have on hand.

Cheers, y'all! ☕️🌺🙏🏻

You need to remember that everything Harry has done has been to copy William. Supporting parents of children lost to the internet is one thing, but William wants to start earlier.✴️
In this speech from ten years ago⬇️, Prince William boldly condemned social media companies:💥
“I am very concerned that on every challenge they face – fake news, extremism, polarization, hate speech, trolling, mental health, privacy, and bullying – our tech leaders seem to be on the back foot.
Their self-image is so grounded in their positive power for good that they seem unable to engage in constructive discussion about the social problems they are creating.”

In April 2016, The Duke of Cambridge brought together leading tech companies, NGOs and independent advisers to form a Cyberbullying Taskforce — today The Duke of Cambridge is speaking at the @BBC on Social Media and Cyberbullying. #AntiBullyingWeek

🚨Shame on @Telegraph and @victoria_ward
for pushing lies.
This black woman Harry is accusing was not the Sussex Squad member people are assuming that was in Nigeria. The woman blurred out was peacefully standing there, doing nothing. No threat...NOTHING.
If she breached a eal threat, security would have moved her as since she was standing there next to them for a while.
👉 Prince Harry's unconscious bias shows how racist he is, and shame on this Telegraph propagandist for helping to manipulate the optics, so this petulant man baby can get back on the Royal Payroll for his "tax payer funded" security. Absolutely pathetic. #sussexsquad

This narrative is beyond tiresome. William doesn’t owe Harry anything. For 5 years Harry’s trashed his family for financial gain. Even this week he delivered a jab designed to get his brother’s attention. William’s moved on. Certain media should too.
AMANDA PLATELL: William and Kate have become the Prince and Princess of Boring. This is why they need to stop sulking and take a leaf out of Harry's book - or risk Charles' wrath trib.al/LZ4FIBb

@RE_DailyMailthe media actually understand why William can’t forgive. This isn’t about bitterness. It’s about the years of threats, lies and abuse Catherine endured, all fed and amplified by client journalists and bots to force the family’s hand. The plan was always pressure, escalation, and if Meghan didn’t get what she demanded, an Endgame 👀 for Catherine. Meghan and Harry chose racism as their weapon. And it was a lie. Not only a lie, but a lie coordinated at the height of Black Lives Matter. That was not just immoral, it was dangerous, as we saw with the political assassination of Charlie Kirk last night. William cannot forgive because Catherine was left to suffer through it. He lives with the knowledge that the campaign against her may have contributed to her illness. He sees George old enough to fear losing his mother, too young to carry that fear without it shaping him for life. William is protecting his wife and children now in the way he could not protect his mother then. Harry tells the world his mission was to save Meghan. William’s mission is to save Catherine. Both brothers made their choices. Only one of them was faced with an attack that looked far more like what Diana really endured. That is why William will never forgive.
