Sure, I’m in the honeymoon phase, but after an hour on this MacBook, I think the Dynamic Island makes more sense and has way more utility on the MacBook than it ever did on the iPhone.

Apple needs to do better than this when it comes to the transition of the traffic lights when touching them.

The illusion that the traffic lights ‘pop out’ doesn’t hold. The animation is too janky, so the larger buttons look slapped on.

Okay, let’s try this: WoW: Forever with a controller running on a MacBook connected to a TV.

I dug up an old SteelSeries Nimbus but got a newer controller on the way. This will do fine for tonight, though.

Meat proxies existed well before AI but back then we called them “project managers”

Trying out Slack Code with a custom agent, and I get the feeling that if your team is already on Slack, this could become your favorite multiplayer coding platform.

AI might be a productivity booster, but have you tried closing Slack for a few hours? Productivity goes brrr 🔥

So bummed this limit on Private Cloud Compute is still in place. I have a great use case for it but Apple won’t let me in.

The new MacBook Pro generation not having cellular is a HUGE mistake.
My MacBook Pro PROLED first impressions: stellar hardware and a cautious approach to bringing touch to the Mac.

I do wish it had Face ID, cellular data, and some level of Apple Pencil support.

So they are doing something to improve touch targets.
Here is the same contextual menu on macOS activated via pointer (left) and touch

macOS automatically detects touch input and spaces out items a little bit more in the UI

Looking at the (few) videos we have so far, this part of the HIG doesn’t seem to apply to macOS.

We’re glowing with excitement over the new MacBook Pro. You’ve gotta touch it to believe it.

This is what it looks like when the cellular antenna and modem starts up, right? RIGHT?!

I don’t like that the rumors aren’t mentioning eSIM anymore…

I made a jack-o’-lantern for your Mac’s menu bar 🎃

It’s a real 3D pumpkin, ray-traced down to every ridge and carved edge, glowing from a flickering candle inside. It hangs on a real cord, so it sways, swings and spins when you grab it.

Click it: your whole Mac goes dark.
Pull Mode is back.

Customize how it looks and what it does.

Since moving from the Codex CLI to the desktop and mobile apps, I’ve religiously given threads short, memorable names and organized them into projects.

I can now juggle way more threads without losing track. Huge productivity boost.
