It’s Friday, every weekend I have Fo understand what me and my fam are into and outs events on my calendar.
Before this we would wake up on a weekend, spend a good chunk of time figuring out what to do.
Finally now,
- Fo wakes up on Friday
- Checks plans and vibes over the weekend
- Blocks my calendar and NG’s
- pings our group if anything needs tickets - books free event tickets proactively :)

If you want less f*cks to give, make sure Fo is where you are. In group chats, in 1:1s. My best reminder use cases. also you want to wait for the end of this video :)

- meal preping, including the ordering of groceries
- putting events on my calendar for the weekend based on my interests and social groups
- finding workout classes for me around my schedule and with discounts
- negotiating with car dealerships for the bump on my car
- returning items i didn't need
the idea is that if I can't trust Fo to handle my sensitive data, be competent in what I need, it's not going to be good enough for my users.
I don't have an executive assistant for this reason. Fo is not a personal agent, it's an executive assistant that hires other humans to get things done.

Until this moment, it took anyone, a team, millions of dollars, lots of infrastructure know how to spin up an agent that can act in the real world. With the Fo MCP and API we just brought this capability to the finger tips to billions of people in the world. People are already building special businesses on top of this
1. A fall device to alert with a phone call a loved one about an accident.
2. A factory robot coordinator, where Fo calls you and helps robots in a warehouse get unstuck
3. A family friend that looks at your outfit for the day and lets you know whether it's slay or nay :)

This weekend @wajo_ai hackathon, me and @firstimebuilder built a skill with @hey__fo MCP. Majid runs a paid coaching community on his own / he can’t check in on every member every week.
So we built him a loop: Fo drafts a personal email for whoever’s gone quiet, then calls him to review them. He says yes, and the email goes out with a voice note 📞🎙️

this one is genuinely exciting.
Fo MCP gives an AI agent a way to act in the physical world, and it works both ways, the agent can nudge a lamp or a vacuum, and the devices can wake the agent up.
per the team, over 100 developers have already built on it. the standout for me is a fall detector that calls an emergency contact on its own.
i think this is where agents are heading. less waiting in a chat window, more reacting to what's happening around them.

I was one of the first to get access to @wajo_ai Fo and MCP! So, I gave Fo an expressive body with Reachy Mini. Used Silero VAD + faster-whisper + Edge TTS for speech. It listens, talk backs, texts me links, and gets things done. It also moves and even picks its own emotions.
