It has come to our notice that Mr. Kavi Prasad has registered several companies in his wife, Ramya Priya Kaviprasad’s, name. Many of these are believed to be “nameboard companies,” allegedly used solely for the purposes of money laundering. There are serious concerns income and the accumulation of substantial wealth—including reports indicating that he receives a 13% commission from government contractors.
According to sources, Mr. Kavi Prasad handles more than five crores in liquid cash daily. It is further observed that, despite having only a single address registered under TVH, he has incorporated multiple companies—including:
• Vasunithi Real Estate Pvt Ltd
• Jasmi Home Furnishings Pvt Ltd
• Proodle Integrated Service Solutions Pvt Ltd
In light of these revelations, questions arise regarding whether the Minister for Municipal Administration, or his brother, Mr. Ravi, are aware of these activities

Tamil Nadu govt orders 30 new special courts to expedite trials in POCSO and NDPS cases
On the directions of CM C Joseph Vijay, the state government has ordered the establishment of 26 new POCSO courts and four additional NDPS special courts.
POCSO courts
26 new special courts s under the POCSO Act, 2012.
12 new courts and 14 additional special courts to be established at a cost of Rs 46.59 crore.
Currently, 22 POCSO special courts are functioning and four more are in the process of becoming operational.
With the new courts, Tamil Nadu will have 52 special courts catering to 47 police districts.
Move aimed at expediting pending trials, ensuring speedy justice for victims and securing stringent punishment for offenders.
NDPS courts
Four new special courts to exclusively try cases under the NDPS Act, 1985.
One court each in Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Vellore.
An additional special court in Chennai.
Tamil Nadu currently has 11 NDPS special courts.
Move aimed at expediting pending drug-related cases as part of the government’s Drug-Free Tamil Nadu initiative.
