Our hearts have been heavy beyond words this week. Our family has direct ties to Silver Rail and spends a significant amount of time in Bend every year. We in the Annunciation family have been afforded immense support and resources, and we ask that you consider sharing that generosity with Silver Rail. My wife Emily will be posting in the comments the local fundraisers that we are aware of.

As parents who were running into our children’s school when a shooting took place, we will also make a plug here to know of and contribute to the work of Sandy Hook Promise. They have developed methods that have actively prevented shootings: sandyhookpromise.org
