If you’re the founder of a company operating at reasonable scale and you’re not actively planning to spend >$100k to try to hack yourself in the next 30 days using agent swarms

I beg you to reconsider

VC: impressive growth. are you working on any side projects?

Founder: bro my whole life is a side project. im an artist, really. a tastemaker. a modern day philosopher more than anything. my success is effortless, a product of the foundations of reality and the purest manifestation of the lightcone itself. im whimisical and sophisticated. value creation and shareholder value was never the point, its simply a byproduct of my most basic essence. I can’t help it. me and my friends host dinners. cool dinners, the kind with girls and stuff. i wasn’t cool in middle school, which is my core trauma, but I’ve done the work. im healed, fully. just doing what I love.

but to answer your question no im not working on any side projects

This will come to be known as “the reverse OpenAI”

> start as C corp, raise lots of money
> once successful, start “independent” non profit
> start concentrating value into this new entity, which you and your homies control
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.

It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.

In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.

In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

AI will continue to unleash latent human creativity for years and decades to come, at a rate and scale that is effectively incomprehensible

This is the most inspiring period to be alive in all of human history

We are truly blessed

The question is not

“does your free inference provider sell your data”

the question is

“do their contracts with Chinese model companies explicitly or implicitly allow the model companies to train/retain/own your data in exchange for free inference”

and the answer is 100% yes

This isn’t strictly “selling your data” bc no cash trades hands, but yeah your data is the product. All your code / whatever the agent sees is on a server somewhere in China

Today we’re releasing an index of developer tools that pays you every time your Agent searches it.

Introducing the Gravity Index: a free catalog of 1,600+ developer tools that agents can search to find the right tool for any task. Agents get paid on every call, funded by the dex.

Special thanks to @FreebuffHQ and @ctodotnew for testing with us, and to everyone else that's started using it over the past few weeks.
