From my understanding, Phineas and Ferb is HUGE in Japan.

So is Pickle and Peanut, interestingly enough.
people are telling me it’s because the shows over there aren’t that popular in Japan, which makes sense but also, does that mean Tron was? because if it was, I’m shocked

The Disney Channel Sitcom Universe is officially connected to the Tommy Westphall Universe, which means that if Kingdom Hearts DID use Disney Channel shows the Kingdom Hearts lore would include every single prime-time series to ever air on American television
I always wonder why Kingdom Hearts never uses any of the disney shows for it’s material there’s a lot of potential there

Sesame Street always had pop culture references and celebrity cameos to encourage “co-viewing” (having adults watch alongside their children) but the rise in streaming and YouTube has forced them to remove it from the actual show as kids now watch alone and don’t get the jokes
Didn’t this used to be a show for kids

For better or worse, the viral videos Sesame Street puts out are more in line with what the show used to be than the actual show itself nowadays (they dropped teaching letters and numbers as they now feel they’re competing for an audience that already knows how to read)

The cast of a New York institution which has seen its share of celebrity guests and iconic sketches and characters.

Also, the cast of Saturday Night Live.

(“The Land of Grouch” is a great inside joke.)
We’re not sure the new Saturday Night Live writers will be able to make it to showtime! 😴

“He used to say he was only borrowing Mel Blanc’s Cadillac and that he promised to return the keys when he was done. Take your time. You always did.”

I'm crushed about Eric Bauza. He was one of the warmest, funniest people I've ever met. Watching him do voices up close was like a magic show. Here's part of our conversation from August. theringer.com/2026/10/26/mov…

Eric Bauza posted this the day the Skydance merger closed. It seemed to be his subtle way of reminding us that no matter whose name is on the logo, the creative legacy of Warner Bros. will not die.

It’s thanks to people like him that it hasn’t.

Damn. The day before he died Eric Bauza was on a panel at the Lightbox Expo recreating the square dance scene from “Hillbilly Hare”.

The Muppets are the only ones allowed to celebrate Christmas early, and Walmart apparently knows this as they released a Muppet Christmas Carol homage featuring Walton Goggins, Stephanie Beatriz, and Pepe the King Prawn (he wasn’t in the original, hokay?) youtu.be/iWFlFNm2IPk

As fun as this ad is, just imagine how many new episodes of The Muppet Show we could have gotten with the money they used to make this.

Still, I’d take this over Paramount’s Fake Johnny Depp Venmo any day.

This is devastating. Easily the most talented voice actors among us. Love to his family. I remain a fan forever.

In 2021, Warner Bros. worked with Story Pirates to do a podcast about Daffy traveling America to make the Duck the new Thanksgiving bird.

Besides somehow recreating Looney Tunes slapstick in audio form, Eric Bauza did a damn good job as Chuck Jones-era Bugs and Daffy.

I planned on posting this as Thanksgiving rolled around as part of the anewfound interest in Looney Tunes as a result of Coyote vs. Acme, but I do so now for much sadder reasons.

Thanks, Eric.
