Michigan for Michiganders
No matter to which party you belong, the political developments during the primary, and now the midterm elections, have to setoff some alarms for you.

Obama and Trump are not on the ballot, and yet they are all anyone talks about. From politicians to dits. This is a distraction. It is designed to keep your focus off what is really happening in Michigan.

Gretchen Whitmer and Elissa Slotkin have both abdicated the responsibilities of their positions to travel and run for president. Slotkin’s run will fail just as miserably as Whitmer’s run but the politicos on the national level will continue to encourage her so she will not have time for Michiganders.

But Slotkin will soon find out that she is totally dispensable, just like Whitmer, McMorrow, Stevens, and Nessel found out. One day you are a ‘girl boss’ and the next day you are unemployed.

Bernie Sanders is a communist. He freely admits this even though he couches it in the bromide of ‘socialist democrat’. Saying that you are a socialist democrat is like saying you are a ‘vegan carnivore’. The two are at opposite ends of the political spectrum that runs from state-controlled to free market models and from totalitarian to democracy. And never the two ends shall meet.

For decades, Bernie has had a communist takeover plan for America. But time is running out. Bernie is old by any measure and he is desperately trying to find a young person who will sell their soul to carry on with his communist wet dream. First AOC, but she is clearly too intellectually limited. Then Graham Platner, but the Nazi was an outlier even by democrat party standards. So Bernie had to look elsewhere.

In addition to the Grim Reaper, Bernie realized that there was another bogeyman that threatened to put a permanent end to his communist fantasy. The Internet, AI, and social media have made it almost impossible for anyone to lie. Everyone is brutally fact-checked in real time. This is a good thing. But if you cannot control the flow of information and re-write history, then you cannot control the masses. That is why Bernie hates Musk. That is why Bernie seeks to place draconian controls on AI.

I find it curious that three persons, Benson, McMorrow, and El-Sayed found their way to Michigan at roughly the same time. Despite El-Sayed’s claim that he is as ‘Michigan as it gets’ it is clear he grew up in Missouri and Florida where his father was a professor. And he spent his summers in Egypt, the nation he refers to as ‘home’.

So it is up to El-Sayed to rescue Bernie’s plan of a communist takeover of America. That is why Michigan has seen a never-ending parade of national figures riding the Bernie Express to the nation’s winter and water wonderland. They are not here to help Michigan or Michiganders. They are here to take over the state and run it from DC.

The State of Michigan is ground zero for Bernie’s revolution. This is why so many long-term Democrats have stepped away from El-Sayed and have even publicly rebuked him. They love the Democrat Party and America. And they realize that Bernie, who is not a member of the Democrat Party, hates both and plans for their destruction.

Haley Stevens is surely a hero.
The repercussions from her political bomb will be felt for years to come. If the Democrats were smart, they would make her head of the DNC. But let’s face it folks, they are far from smart.

The Democrat Party is her party now. Despite the DNC and the Michigan Democrat Party who didn't realize they were the ones who had been kicked out of the party. And not Haley.

The Democrats need a thorough housecleaning. The DSA has gotta go. BLM has gotta go. ANTIFA has gotta go. DEI has gotta go. The trans-crazies have gotta go. The muslim alliance has gotta go. And American universities will have to become American again.

The Democrats must have a mass retirement from Congress. The octogenarians must be sent to rest homes. The Democrats must rebuild from the ground up. It will be over a decade before they have power on the national level again.

America is a tolerant nation. America is a generous nation. But the crazies on the left have plucked America's last nerve. Like the Looney Tunes signature closing sequence used to say: "That's All Folks"

Haley Stevens made one of the biggest power moves in the history of Michigan politics. She probably determined the outcome of the Michigan Senate race. And she may have determined the outcome of the governor's race. All in favor of Republicans.

She may have also erased any hoped to leave behind.

Hear that swishing sound? That is over a billion dollars in campaign money gurgling down the drain. She might have also changed the way campaigns are managed.

In the end, money didn't matter. Endorsements didn't matter. The lesson that should be learned is that outsiders cannot come into a state and bully their way into power.

And, BTW. One person can make a difference

The face you make when you hear this:

“Our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul El-Sayed, said that I was no longer welcome in his campaign, and that I should stay away. And he’s right, and that’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.”

This one statistic reveals Michiganders’ attitude toward the current political environment. Public safety tops the list of concerns. Not Bernie's wet dream of a communist takeover of America.

Michigan Stands on the Threshold of a Dream

Let's be honest. I am not even sure if muslims think islam is a religion. It might be all part of taqiyya. You never know if a muslim is telling the truth. Everyone knows this. Even muslims admit this.

For 1400 years muslims have ribe with a 7th-century worldview. It is a men's club where women are treated like chattel slaves at best, animals at worst.

This is all part of Sharia Law. The muslim clerics preach this. The Democrat Party's alliance with this tribe is totally in line with their history of slavery, KKK, Jim Crow Laws, and civil rights abuse. For 300 years this lineage has sought to rip the rights from one group or another. It is what defines them. It is how they define themselves.

The Western world went through periods of introspection, analysis, and moral evolution. Two eras created and implanted a moral code or moral DNA into the Western view of the world, The Renaissance and The Enlightenment.

They established the concept of inalienable human rights. There is no such parallel in the islamic world. Michigan sits on the front lines.

That is why the Democrats have invested so much time and money in the state. Next week, Michigan can vote to establish two historical firsts. The first Black Governor of Michigan and the creation of a modern type of Maginot Line*. A line to defend our inalienable human rights. An intangible spiritual line.

Vote RED Remove every Democrat

*(The Maginot Line was a line of fortifications, obstacles and weapon installations built by France in the 1930s to deter invasion by Nazi Germany. Named after the French Minister of War André Maginot, it was constructed on the French side of its borders with Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.)

This recent statement by Lizzie exemplifies her true attitude and beliefs toward America and Americans.
Her endorsement of Abdul El-Sayed and Joslyn Benson comes as no surprise.
Birds of a feather.

Abdul and Jocelyn's plan for Michigan

No public evidence indicates that either Abdul El-Sayed or Jocelyn Benson has disavowed or specifically condemned the Paris/France rioters from the mid-October 2026 unrest.

Democrats do not want to make election days a national holiday because they are afraid of an 80+% turnout.

It is a form of voter suppression.

Happy All Saints' Day

All Saints' Day is a solemn holy day of the Catholic Church celebrated annually on November 1. The day is dedicated to the saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained heaven. It should not be confused with All Souls' Day, which is observed on cated to those who have died and not yet reached heaven.

Although millions, or even billions of people may already be saints, All Saints' Day observances tend to focus on known saints --that is those recognized in the canon of the saints by the Catholic Church.

All Saints' Day is also commemorated by members of the Eastern Orthodox Church as well as some protestant churches, such as Lutheran and Anglican churches.

Generally, All Saints' Day is a Catholic Holy Day of Obligation, meaning all Catholics are required to attend Mass on that day, unless they have an excellent excuse, such as serious illness.

Other countries have different rules according to their national bishop's conferences. The bishops of each conference have the authority to amend the rules surrounding the obligation of the day.

All Saints' Day was formally started by Pope Boniface IV, who consecrated the Pantheon at Rome to the Virgin Mary and all the Martyrs on May 13 in 609 AD. Boniface IV also established All Souls' Day, which follows All Saints.

The choice of the day may have been intended to co-opt the pagan holiday "Feast of the Lamures," a day which pagans used to placate the restless spirits of the dead.

The holy day was eventually established on November 1 by Pope Gregory III in the mid-eighth century as a day dedicated to the saints and their relics. The May 13 celebration was subsequently abandoned.

In Ireland, the Church celebrated All Saints' Day on April 20, to avoid associating the day with the traditional harvest festivals and pagan feasts associated with Samhain, celebrated at the same time.

Following the establishment of the Frankish Empire, and following the reign of Charlemagne, the holy day, which was already celebrated on November 1, became a holy day of obligation by decree of Pope Gregory IV and Louis the Pious, who was king over a portion of Charlemagne's former empire.

Following the Protestant Reformation, many Protestants retained the holy day, although they dismissed the need to pray for the dead. Instead, the day has been used to commemorate those who have recently died, usually in the past year, and to remember the examples of those who lived holy lives.

The Catholic practice however, celebrates all those who have entered heaven, including saints who are recognized by the Church and those who are not.

Holy day customs vary around the world. In the United States, the day before is Halloween and is usually celebrated by dressing in costumes with themes of death commonly associated. Children go door-to-door in costume, trick-or-treating, that is soliciting candy from their neighbors. The holiday has lost much of its connection to its religious origins.

Although nearly everyone celebrates Halloween for the fun of the secular holiday, the following religious solemnity, is not widely practiced or acknowledged by most Americans unless they are Catholic.

In other countries, such as Portugal, Spain and Mexico, traditional practices include performance of the play, "Don Juan Tenorio" and offerings made to the dead. All Saints' Say occurs on the same day as the Mexican "Dide los Innocentes" a day dedicated to deceased children.

Across much of Europe, the day is commemorated with offerings of flowers left on the graves of the dead. In Eastern Europe, candles are lit on graves instead of offerings of flowers.

In some places, such as the Philippines, graves can be painted and repaired by family members. Many of these practices blur the distinction between All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.

These celebrations often blur the distinction between All Saints' Day, which is properly dedicated to those who are in heaven, and All Souls' Day, on which prayers are offered for all those who have died, but have not yet reached heaven.

In Mexico, the Day of the Dead holy days extend from October 31 through November 2.

It is important to remember these basic facts:

Halloween is a secular holiday that comes the night before All Saints' Day.

All Saints' Day is on November 1, and it is a Holy Day of Obligation.

All Souls' Day in on November 2, and it is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation.

The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that has spread in popularity into parts of the United States and across Latin America. It is celebrated from October 31 through November 2, to coincide with both the American tradition and the Catholic holy days. Those three days are dedicated to all of the dead to all of the dead.

ObamaCare Act Rates to Rise Steeply—Again
Premiums set to rise by 13% next year, KFF analysis shows, in second straight year of double-digit hikes

Quick Summary
--ObamaCare Act plan premiums will rise by 13% in 2027, marking the second straight year of double-digit increases, premium hike is driven by growth in spending in areas like hospital care and drugs.
--Cigna Group is pulling out of the ACA market entirely next year, amid 31 state-level departures by insurers.

ObamaCare Act plan premiums will rise by 13% in 2027, the second straight year of double-digit increases in a strained market that is already facing shrinking enrollment.

Next year’s boost follows a 26% surge this year and is the second biggest rise since 2018, according to KFF, the health-research nonprofit that calculated the increase based on federal data released Friday.

The hike means an average monthly premium of about $704 for a 40-year-old buying an ACA “benchmark” plan for 2027, compared with $624 this year and around $497 in 2025. Benchmark plans are midtier products in each region that are used to set federal subsidy amounts.

People can start shopping for next year’s ACA plans on Nov. 1. The latest increase will add to the strain for the slice of ACA consumers who pay the full price for their plans. Most people with ACA coverage get the government subsidies, but federal support was reduced sharply at the start of this year, leading millions of people to drop out of the market.

Americans are feeling the impact of higher healthcare costs during this fall’s insurance enrollment period. Employers are facing steep 2027 insurance increases, which they are passing along to workers in the form of bigger paycheck withdrawals and higher out-of-pocket costs. Even seniors, now choosing their Medicare plans, are seeing slimmed-down benefits and increases in charges such as drug deductibles.

For the ACA plans, as with other types of insurance, a main driver of higher premiums for next year is the growth in spending in areas like hospital care and drugs, said Cynthia Cox, a senior vice president at KFF.

The ACA market is under unique pressure, however, because it is shrinking after the pullback of federal subsidies that made plans far more expensive for millions of people. Healthier people are more likely to drop their coverage, leaving a smaller, sicker pool, leading to higher premiums.

As of late October, a KFF tally showed 31 state-level departures by insurers, with eight additions. Cigna Group is pulling out of the ACA altogether next year.“The market is deteriorating,” said Cox. She and other analysts say the ACA market isn’t close to collapsing, but it will remain smaller than its peak in 2024 and 2025.

This year, enrollment in ACA plans dropped to around 19.2 million as of February, a 12% decline from a year earlier. Insurers have said more have left since then, and it is likely to continue next year.

Appeared in the October 31, 2026, print edition as 'ACA Rates To Increase By 13% in ’27'.
