The Israeli Foreign Ministry is lying.

No coordination was required, and we were never told that it was. We were not in a restricted security area. We did not pass any checkpoints.

Palestinian farmers do not — and should not — need permits to harvest their own olive fields. But they fear doing so, because the IDF doesn’t protect them from settler violence.

We’re trying to model solidarity & co-existence between Jews and Palestinians, and to call attention to the horrors of the occupation. The Israeli government is trying to foment violence between Jews and Palestinians, and to make it impossible for Palestinians to harvest their olive groves, drive on their roads, or live in their homes.
This was not about harvesting olives.
It was about harvesting headlines.

Brad Lander’s latest stunt is nothing more than a calculated political provocation.

Lander traveled to a foreign country, deliberately entered a restricted security area, and participated in an unauthorized activity without the required coordination.

What makes this stunt even more outrageous is that his own team contacted Israeli representatives in the United States ahead of his visit and was explicitly informed that proper coordination with the relevant authorities was required.
He chose to ignore those instructions.

At a time of heightened security tensions, Israeli security forces have a responsibility to protect lives, prevent dangerous incidents, and maintain public order.

Had anyone been injured as a result of his reckless political theater, Lander would undoubtedly have been among the first to demand that Israeli authorities intervene and provide protection.

Brad Lander came looking for a confrontation. Now he is pretending to be its victim.

New bombshell on Netanyahu's warnings before October 7.

Channel 13 published minutes from his Military Secretary, marked top secret, from two meetings in the last ten days before the massacre. Translations in the images.

27 September 2023, a day after Egypt's intelligence chief arn him. Netanyahu orders the escalation contained and tells them to use Gaza work permits as a lever. Erez reopens that night and 18,000 workers cross the next morning.

1 October. He talks up a Saudi peace deal and decides to "advance the civilian arrangement with Hamas." On the targeted killings of Hamas leaders, he orders only that operational readiness be advanced. No decision to carry them out. The NYT reports he argued against striking at that meeting because of the Saudi talks.

He has said killing Hamas leaders was never recommended to him. His own office's minutes call them "the targeted killings that were recommended."

The permits went through in hours. The killings stayed on the shelf. Six days later, October 7.

“The Israelis were prepared to give it all back in exchange for normalization of relations, but the Arab states chose a United Front instead”

Meanwhile, 1968 Israel: Keep quiet about the IV Geneva Convention or we won’t be able to settle and blast homes.

Y'know, the Israeli Settler issue wouldn't even exist had Syria and Jordan just made peace with Israel after the Six-Day War. The Israelis were prepared to give it all back in exchange for normalization of relations, but the Arab states chose a United Front instead.

Sky News reports that a 28-year-old Palestinian woman, six months pregnant and suffering severe internal bleeding, was being transported from Qaryout in the occupied West Bank to Rafidia Surgical Hospital in Nablus when Israeli soldiers stopped her ambulance at the Awarta checkpoint.

Video shows Israeli forces detained the ambulance crew for more than 30 minutes, subjected the bleeding, critically ill woman to a physical search, and ordered the driver to turn off the engine, cutting power to the vehicle’s onboard medical equipment.

During the forced delay, a nurse was forced to deliver the fetus stillborn inside the stranded ambulance. The woman was eventually allowed to proceed to the hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery and saved her life. The baby could not be saved.
Sky's @sparkomat reports from the West Bank on the impact of the escalating violence and the challenges of delivering urgent care under an increased Israeli military presence.

Based on what is written on YOUR government website and said by Menachem Begin (and confirmed by Rabin and Peled) the Six-Day War was a War of CHOICE.

YOU went to war knowing that you were under no imminent threat.

And the BS of UN troops being kicked out of Egypt fails to mention that those troops NEVER SET FOOT on the Israel side of the border. NOT ONCE.

In fact Israel deployed its military even in areas declared demilitarised in the Armistice Agreement.

The IHRA definition of antisemitism was supposed to avoid blaming Jews for what Israel does, but backers of the Israeli government do the reverse all the time -- they pretend it is antisemitism to criticize Israel, harming the fight against antisemitism.

Israeli soldiers in their own words:

‘He grabbed a woman, young & good looking, went into a house, prepared a bedroom and wanted to f*** her.’

‘The girl came back half dead, like a rag.’

This is the barbarism that created Israel. And now your tax dollars go towards arming it.
An Israeli soldier in 1985:

‘I’m not dealing with human beings (Lebanese). They are all terrorists and they don't have any human feelings, so l kill them without remorse.’

Reporter: ‘They live here and they’re trying to defend their villages.’

IDF soldier: ‘They know we’re two months, why do they have to try and kill people?’

Israeli soldiers commit barbarism and mass slaughter, and then play the victim…since 1948.

Unfortunately for Israel not even the Americans supported military invasion as a response to a naval blockade. Not in 1956 nor in 1967.

The Sèvres Protocol remains a crime against peace.
