introducing @tesser_sh (YC W27)
tesser is the simplest way to offload heavy workloads like dev servers and builds to cloud VMs. every worktree gets its own machines, with automatic port forwarding to your laptop

tesser built for teams of agents and devs
share running servers with preview links or connect directly to your teammates boxes through localhost.
for teams with stricter security requirements, tesser also supports BYOC to run environments directly in your own AWS account.

the Mintlify MCP has been based on codemode since may. we just deleted it.
native mcp tools make more sense now. claude code, codex, pi, opencode, and basically every other harness use codemode as an implementation detail of their mcp support.
this meant that every single tool call to mintlify went through 2 layers of indirection: the harness's javascript, and ours
claude code makes changes to your editor, automations, and site settings much faster. it also can do everything our in app agent can do now!
im still an mcp hater but its much better you should try it

We rebuilt our MCP from the ground up.
Tool calls are faster, more reliable and use fewer tokens.

joined @mintlify a few weeks ago and this is my favourite thing i've shipped so far: making our source mode editor properly collaborative with the wysiwyg editor. i also shipped autocompletion and hover docs in source mode. live now on app.mintlify.com!

introducing walgithub: a github enterprise compatible server that runs on pure s3
your agents need completely isolated sandboxes to test their work on. walgithub lets your agents / e2e tests open thousands of prs, without a single ratelimit issue
got way more coming like this!

i am proud MCP hater
but web mcp seems WAY more directionally correct than normal mcp

Mintlify sites now natively support WebMCP
The moment an agent lands on any docs page, it gets callable tools: search, navigate, read content, get skills directly
No scraping or separate server required
