Popping in to share a quick update on the Ratspeak Ethereum PoC and where my head's at.

The original PoC only covered Ethereum. Now I'm building verifiers for OP Stack and Arbitrum Nitro chains into my experimental fork.

(1/2) Today we’re bringing our firmware to two new devices:

- @Elecrow1’s ThinkNode M9
- @M5Stack’s Cardputer Adv

Completely open-source, this shared firmware enables encrypted p2p mesh networking/communication.

What's intriguing about developing services on mesh of meshes like Ratspeak / Reticulum is that you ultimately do need coordination if you want reliability.

Many scaling and incentive experiments from Bitcoin and Ethereum's history apply.

Lately I've been working on an Ethereum light client over @ratspeakorg that uses proofs to minimize trust on an untrusted RPC.

I've been going back and forth on: wallet inside of RatSpeak or using a signature from another wallet.

It's a tradeoff for sure. What do you think?

(1/2) As we continue to explore a deeper integration of $Ratspeak into the network, we need ongoing feedback from the community and willing participants.

Are you interested in exploring new tokenomics, testing software, and generally contributing to open source?

(2/2) If so, let us know in the comments or elsewhere - we’ll be putting together a focused working group in the coming week(s).

This is part of our ongoing effort to build openly and alongside the community.

The fourth token burn has been executed, taking 543,210,899 base:0xf1e9baa65d418a9025e1851dd2d37f1ad208bba3 tokens out of circulation.

This brings the total amount of tokens burned to approximately 4,000,000,000; or 4% of the total supply.

Today we packed up @Starlink, some radios, and headed out to Pike National Forest for some range and repeater testing.

Never a dull day for rats. 🐁

And for the curious mind, we will continue to repeat: Ratspeak is not just for radios, and it is not a radio-only mesh network.

It’s a full heterogenous mesh - use WiFi, 5G, Bluetooth, whatever works for you.

Endless capabilities.

Very few realize that Ratspeak and its libraries are an open-source playground to the right mind.

Chaz is one of the few. 🐁

Our map lets you easily discover local nodes over radio (LoRa), or find global nodes to connect to through I2P, IPv4/6, and more.

Publishing your node is entirely opt-in, and only represents a fraction of the mesh.

For TestFlight users, v1.0.31 should be available within 24 hours after Apple reviews it.

Until then, v1.0.29 is recommended to avoid the mobile keyboard handling issue.
