IS THERE ANY INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY THAT CAN MATCH TAMIL CINEMA'S COMEDY LEGACY? THIS IS WHERE KOLLYWOOD TRULY STANDS APART!

If there is one department where I believe Kollywood deserves extraordinary recognition, it is comedy.

Tamil cinema has produced an unbelievable number of enerations. Not just actors who made audiences laugh, but performers who could single-handedly carry an entire film.

Think about the legacy!

N.S. Krishnan, K.A. Thangavelu, J.P. Chandrababu, Nagesh, Suruli Rajan, Goundamani, Senthil, Vivekh and Vadivelu.

Every generation had its own comedy superstar. Each had a distinctive style, unforgettable expressions, iconic dialogue delivery and impeccable timing.

Goundamani-Senthil created a comedy partnership for the ages. Vadivelu turned everyday expressions into legendary comedy moments. Vivekh blended humour with social commentary, while Nagesh demonstrated that comedy was as much about acting talent as timing.

And the list doesn't end there.

Thengai Srinivasan, Janagaraj, Cho Ramaswamy, Manobala, Karunas, Santhanam, Yogi Babu, Soori and Munishkanth have all contributed to this extraordinary tradition.

Then comes the brilliance of comedy writers.

Crazy Mohan and Kamal Haasan gave us classics like Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Avvai Shanmugi, Panchathanthiram, Kaathala Kaathala, Thenali and Vasool Raja MBBS.

K. Bhagyaraj mastered everyday situational humour, while Sundar C delivered one entertainer after another.

Tamil cinema also had extraordinary female comedians. Manorama, Kovai Sarala, Urvashi, Sachu and T.A. Mathuram are names that deserve a special place in Indian cinema history.

What makes this tradition remarkable is that even heroes, character actors and villains could be outstanding comedians. Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, M.R. Radha, Nassar, Prakash Raj and Anand Raj have all demonstrated this versatility.

Bollywood has its own legendary comedy performers, from Kishore Kumar and Mehmood to Johnny Lever, Kader Khan and Paresh Rawal.

But Tamil cinema's sheer depth of comedy talent, memorable combinations and continuity across generations is something truly special.

Comedy isn't just a department of Kollywood. It is one of its greatest cultural treasures.

Now the big question:

WHO IS THE GREATEST COMEDY ACTOR IN TAMIL CINEMA HISTORY?

Nagesh, Goundamani, Vadivelu, Vivekh or someone else?

Non-Telugu speaking actors should stop dubbing in Telugu with their pathetic pronunciation. Actors like Sai Pallavi, Siddharth, and SJ Surya with heavy Tamil influence should not be allowed to dub, as it spoils the watching experience. Telugu directors should stop this nonsense!

Andhra Pradesh Chainsaw Horror!

This is 21 year old Hemanth.
He took a chainsaw into a school and hacked 14 year old Gopika and her friend inside the classroom.

Both girls are in critical condition.

The videos of the incident are absolutely horrifying. Gopika looks like a od. The other victim’s both legs have been hacked. Many are sharing the unedited videos without thinking.

Hemanth apparently is a relative of Gopika and he proposed to her.

The girl rejected his love and an enraged Hemanth took a chainsaw and senselessly attacked the girl.

Hemanth was arrested a little while ago near Dharmavaram Railway Station.

He neither showed remorse or fear for what he did.

Incidents like this are common in the country, the degree of shock varies from incident to incident.

But we as a society have become absolutely numb.

There will be sermons after sermons about women’s clothes, dupattas, social behavior but no man/ boy will be ever taught about concent & choice of individuals.
