Earlier this week, we let everyone in on a little secret 🤫 ...
@prodcollective now powers Gigantic -- providing powerful, on-demand training to Product Managers, Product Leaders, and product-minded professionals...
This means that the same community behind the world-class onference is now firmly behind training courses designed to set your product team up for success for the modern tech/software world we work within.
We'll be making a special announcement on Monday (so sign up at ProductCollective.com to be sure you see that 👀 ).
Never checked out our Gigantic courses? Here's a quick rundown:
Product Strategy and Leadership: We will give you a step-by-step process to enhance your understanding of product strategy, enabling you to more effectively identify high-impact initiatives. Led by the team at @prodify.
Deconstructing Leadership: You’ll learn the underlying logic behind all the leadership advice you’ve heard and read. Instead of following what feels like a script, use this course to build an authentic style that sustains. Led by @alisonmaego
Become an AI Product Manager: By understanding and implementing AI in your Product processes you will gain efficiency in your role, master the new technologies driving success in companies and lead your team better. Led by @HaggsTheRed and Rami Alhamad.
Mastering Customer Research: Learn to identify problems, create personas, and develop hypotheses while mastering diverse customer discovery methods, including direct and indirect feedback, inferred insights from CRM data, and immersive intervention techniques. Led by @prer_sing
Growth Design for Product People: you'll explore the core principles of growth design, demystify the psychology of users, and learn to craft experiences that captivate and retain your audience. Led by @Jvb_nl
Scaling with Generative AI: Quickly master a strong understanding of the Generative Artificial Intelligence landscape, learn how and where organizations are already incorporating generative AI strategically, and discover the impact areas within your product where generative AI can help you scale. Led by Maria Osipova and Matt Payne.
Product Management Foundations: Access the materials that top PM's use to scale even the most ambitious product initiatives - from frameworks, to templates, to exercises that you can put into practice with your team right away. Led by @TweetAnnaMarie, Victoria Kennedy... and me!
Starting at just $299 -- this is training that's just as accessible as it is powerful.
And you can get an early look at what's in store in this video.
Interested in what this could mean for you and your team? My DM's are open. 😎

This conversation between @jasonfried and @bmoesta back at @prodcollective's INDUSTRY 2019 of "the knowns" and "unknowns" of the work that we do as product people always will stick with me.
It's only 4 minutes, but there's so much to unpack...
First, if you're simply giving a omplete in order to launch a product or feature, you're probably missing the boat. Doing so takes away all of their creativity. Because (and you're not going to want to hear this)... there's a chance that their approach to solve the problem may actually be *better* than yours.
And once the work begins... there will be "known" work and "unknown" work. Which makes it impossible to know *exactly* how far along you are in the work.
Because real work isn't linear. It's more like... traveling up and down on a hill. You have to get over that hump (where the unknowns live).
It's worth watching the full 4 minutes here to really understand what I mean...

Claire Vo (CPO Color + ex-Optimizely) has some great 🌶️ PM hot takes.
Here are 6 of her best:
1. "There’s this belief that if you just talk to the right customer, write the right PRD, and follow the right process — then you’ll build a great product. But I think the team that team with the right processes."
2. "You can't put an idea into the framework factory and get a great product out on the other end."
3. "Every PM manager should also get their hands dirty on IC work."
4. "High performers are well-networked internally. Not through relationship building (tho they do that, too), but through being at the center of important problems for the business."
5. "I canceled 80% of my recurring 1:1s and I don’t think I’m ever going back."
6. "I got into tech because I like building things. So protecting my craft time is incredibly important because it reminds me of why I chose this profession in the first place."
📌 Don't miss my full interview with Claire about the rise of the IC PM and other topics: creatoreconomy.so/p/claire-vo-wh…

Make it easy for people to behave a certain way, and they will.
Too many product leaders wonder why they are struggling to get culture changes to happen. Changing the way product managers do things makes life harder.
Try to make things easier and give them the space to change.
