这个 NoSQL 设计的非常好!
🕸️ One Java API. Many graph databases!

☕ Eclipse JNoSQL integrates with Apache TinkerPop, an open-source graph framework with Gremlin and an ecosystem of 24+ graph database providers.

🚀 More choice. Less vendor coupling.

The future of enterprise Java is built by contributors.
Contributing to Jakarta EE gives developers the opportunity to participate in discussions, specifications, and projects that influence technologies used around the world.

It's a chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful ystem.

@olegzanx @JakartaEE @MongoDB @foojayio Thanks, that is a super valid point.
Furthermore, with Jakarta Data, this cursor pagination would be super easy.

Processing millions of records in a single request isn't scalable. ⚙️

📦 Chunk the workload
🔁 Add checkpoints & restartability
🧠 Separate business rules from execution
🍃 Use #MongoDB + Batch
Practical segmentation example

I am publicly announcing today that I am starting the process of retiring as the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation sometime in mid-2027. So this is not goodbye yet. It's more like I am just starting to turn towards the exit sign....

Why now? I just recently turned 66 and I had two grandchildren born this year. It's time to spend more time with my family. Plus almost all of my golfing and fishing buddies are already retired!

This process is going to take some time. We're aiming for the middle of next year, but that is a flexible target. Neither I nor the Eclipse Foundation are in a particular rush, and it is important that this transition happen as smoothly as possible.

I can't believe that I have done the same job for 22 years! (23 by the time I'm done.) I have been truly blessed to have a role that has been so challenging and enjoyable for so long. There are so many people who have helped me along the way that I am not even going to try to list them. But a sincere thank you to all.

More details are in my blog post and FAQ:

Vector search behind the same API you already use for documents is a good fit for enterprise Java. Most teams do not want a new database just for RAG. Worth checking how it handles embedding updates and metadata filters, since that is where RAG setups get tricky.
🚀 Eclipse JNoSQL 1.2.0 is here!

🧠 Vector Database support for semantic search, RAG & AI
⏱️ 5 new TimeSeries operations for expressive queries
☕ One API. More possibilities for Enterprise Java!
