Extremely sad to hear that Steve Ellis of Love Affair has passed away. He brought us that wonderful hit "Everlasting Love" which reached No. 1

I remember interviewing him back in 2019, he was such a lovely and entertaining man.

RIP Steve 😔

More sad news this week. RIP Steve Ellis, lead singer of Love Affair, Widowmaker and more, who has passed away aged 76.

Steve (rear) with Love Affair (and friend) in 1967. He recorded Everlasting Love, which knocked The Beatles from the top spot, aged just 17.
