Finished the season and 7/10 is 100% reasonable for this show.
Art style is preem, direction is more abstract and much more like the trigger I grew up with so thats a 10/10 for me
Music was ok, some were very corny for the moments it was played and took me out of the scene nt (im looking at you episode 10). 6/10 there
The story is serviceable, it has some very good points (D and King my beloved) and some mid points but the lack of episodes has kinda ruined the show for me. Netflix and its peers needs to stop with these 8-10 episode seasons. 12 at minimum please and thanks. 6/10
eps 8-10 are RUSHED to hell and back cus splitting 10 eps between 2 duos and expecting to finish all the arcs is madness and frankly was never going to work, eps 1-6 were pretty good but never reached season 1. 5/10, those last few eps genuinely fucked any rating for this show going above a 7 for me.
No spoilers but I genuinely believe the marketing for this season is going to partially be the reason it wont be memorable for many as well as the reason that most of the emotional payoffs never land for those who watch it because the idea that the marketing team decided to give them ruins any chance at investing many people. 0/10 on marketing LMAO
All in all, its not a horrible sequel and Omi is my new wife. FUCK I LOVE THAT TOMBOY SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE SERIES MORE
