Is there any way to reach anyone over at Gemini / Antigravity? @antigravity I logged this morning to having a Terms of Service violation and I'm very confused - I've never tried to use my account with 3rd party tools. Can anyone help? I truly think this is in error.

🦀🪟 Really exciting to see that Microsoft is not only shipping Rust in the kernel, but also considers their use of Rust a major security feature worthy of being one of the highlights in their update announcement. ✨

Possible supply chain attack happening in the web ecosystem right now all under the guise of supporting node 0.4.
Does this GitHub action allow ljharb to inject back doors? Replacing setup-node is very suspicious behavior.

I love seeing PRs that add an extra 16 dependencies to the Svelte compiler and make learn.svelte.dev load more slowly for everyone so that a single developer can keep running Node 0.4!

i think its ok for steam to have a monopoly on the pc gaming market because they actually provide a good and extremely feature rich experience for free, while the epic launcher can barely load the store page
Tim Sweeney emailed Gabe Newell calling Valve 'you assholes' over Steam policies, to which Valve's COO simply replied 'you mad bro?' trib.al/U86pdjbCommunity noteWhile Scott Lynch (COO at Valve) did reply with "You mad bro?", the post implies that Tim Sweeney was the recipient of this.
The email recipient was actually listed as Erik Johnson, with Gabe Newell CC'd.

30fps most certainly is playable*
*Caveat: A subsection of human population (~10%) get motion sickness or headaches from low frame rates & so for that, high framerate is defacto "Accessibility Setting". It's similar to those 10% of peeps who have CRT eyestrain (etc). We usually ignore this.
Likewise, even though we are BLUR busters, we also recognize sometimes the "GPU Motion Blur Setting" ends up being an accessibility setting for those who get stutter eyestrains. Some people need low frame rates+blur. Others need high frame rates+lack of blur.
There's over 100+ niche ergonomic triggers, sadly, that sometimes creates holywar debates.
Also, 30fps on fast-response displays (such as OLED) stutters more than 30fps on LCDs, so there's been also some debates by people unaware of how 30fps stutters differently on different displays. What looks delightful to many, may feel motionsickly unplayable to others.
Ah, that's all folks 👽

The 30fps is "unplayable" narrative is one of the worst trends to ever happen in gaming. This asinine PC lames rhetoric has you passing on great game experiences
Yet 95% of you can't tell the difference between 30fps & 60fps unless you're told beforehand
30fps plays fineCommunity noteA 2015 study suggests most people can discern higher framerates when presented films at varying rates.

Additionally, framerate provides an objective difference in both skill and general enjoyment in the context of games, considerably moreso than resolution.

It started when Microsoft announced the MS Store and their intention to deprecate Win32 API.
Valve launched the Steam Machines around 2015 and failed.
Since then they've devoted a ton of resources in the right places (Mesa, Wine, Kernel, Khronos) to make it happen.
