"What a day to be alive" - my wife, Jamie.
The first conservative government in BC since 1933.
The first conservative government in BC since 1933.
Thank you, British Columbia.
Tonight, you voted for change. You voted for a government that will listen, keep life affordable, and never take your hard-earned money for granted.
I want to thank every volunteer who knocked on doors, made calls, and put up signs in the rain. I dates, who stepped forward in a snap election with no time to spare. And I want to thank my wife Shelley and my family for standing beside me every step of the way.
To those who didn’t vote for us: I will work just as hard for you. This is your government too.
The work starts now. Let’s get to it.

Look, I've never been one to "pick a side" in politics, other than what party has the best interest for me and my family.
My province (BC) has never been so poorly run in my entire life than it is right now. Industries across the province have suffered because the government has been making all of their decisions for the cities, when 95% of the province is NOT a city.
The majority of people have had their towns and regions fall behind and crumble under various governments, not just David Eby and his NDP.
My local conservative leader has been an active member of the local industry and trying to fight for what's right for our region for years now, and that effort and hopeful gains benefit me directly, so I'm happy that BC is going Conservative.
If wanting what's best for me makes me a conservative, then I guess I'm conservative.
Hopefully a new majority government in BC means things finally change for the better.

Got an AMD Radeon Pro V340L running LLM inference on Windows 11!
A dual-Vega datacenter GPU never intended for native Windows desktop use.
Modified AMD PRO drivers, working Vulkan acceleration, and both 8GB HBM2 GPUs running simultaneous inference.
88.39 tokens/sec combined on ear-perfect dual-GPU scaling.
All from a C$93 card. 😎
#AMD #Vulkan #LocalAI
Used github.com/MansfieldPlumb… to mod the driver.
... now to test it as a utility node for LLM Controller Pro 🤔

Rest in peace, Margaret Hamilton (1936–2026). Humanity walked on the Moon because extraordinary minds like hers made the impossible possible.
In an era when women were routinely erased from history's achievements and forced to the sidelines by male scientists, she led the team flight software, saved humanity’s first Moon landing, and revolutionised software engineering.
The world has lost a scientist, pioneer, and one of the best of us. Humanity will carry her legacy to the stars and beyond.

Mes pensées vont à la communauté des @ForcesCanada, aux victimes et à toutes les personnes touchées par l’horrible tragédie survenue hier à la BFC Wainwright. Nous partageons votre chagrin.

Patching kernels also came with an entire platform update for our VM hosts and an improved maintenance strategy emerged as a result. Very successful updates for Rasberry™ Hosting!
Early this morning, we completed rolling reboots of our VM hosts to apply kernel security updates addressing the PwnEscape vulnerability.
Services experienced only brief interruptions of a few minutes, and all VM execution states were preserved.
