how it started: how it’s going:

Just paid a visit to the Ralph Hay Showroom, where the first league meeting took place 100 years ago today.

Congratulations, Eli.

When Congressman Cummings and I first met more than a decade ago, we quickly developed a relationship of mutual respect and trust. I join the country in mourning his passing.

It's here.

Our 100th season kicks off tonight when the Packers & Bears meet for their 199th showdown.

This season, #NFL100 has something for everyone. We invite you to join in the celebration.

Here's to the next century of football.

The @NFL was honored to welcome 50 veterans from @wwp at HQ this week, including Army Veteran Kim Jackson. Congratulations on completing a 19-mile “Soldier Ride” and thanks to @NFLLegends @49TRich @Mrmac256 & Usama Young for making the journey as well. #SaluteToService

Pat personified all that’s right about the NFL and is extremely deserving of this summer’s recognition as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Our league is also better because of Pat’s extraordinary contributions. As co-chair of the NFL Management Council Executive Committee and the chair of the Broadcasting Committee, Pat played an instrumental role in many facets of our League that benefited fans, players and clubs.

Pat Bowlen was driven by the will to succeed and his competitive spirit made him a great leader. We all will greatly miss him and his kindness, passion and wisdom. Pat had a deep love for the game of football, the Broncos and the City of Denver.

Above all, Bart was a wonderful human being who will be remembered for his kindness and compassion. On behalf of the entire NFL family and football fans all over the world, we send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Cherry; his family; and the Green Bay community.
