Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley will face a recall vote in the Massachusetts 33rd Congressional District after she admitted to having an affair with a state senator.

Pressley and Massachusetts Senator Joseph Barron (D-Lowell) engaged in an affair that involved several other and some very incriminating video.

More than 70 percent of the registered voters in her district signed the recall petition.

Healey called out for “Things happen” rape remark during and after the debate. 📣

There she goes again…

Healey once again dismissively used her controversial comment, “Things happen,” during her debate with Mike Minogue.

Minogue firmly voiced a visceral reaction, “That is was raped!” He went on to hammer Healey for her lack of accountability with this case, and a list of others.

After keeping the press pool waiting for 12 minutes (most likely for spin control) “Things happen” was among the first questions she chose to answer.

Watch Healey’s weak attempt at walking back the comment and the still unresolved rape incident from two years ago.

Surprising she would repeat it after the last time – but hey, “Things happen.”
